Sanctuary Contest: Help me do math!

Have you ever wondered exactly how many coins and spirit points it would cost to max all of your character's skills? Its a question that haunts me every single night .

I want to make a sin or a seeker, but I can't unless I know exactly how many coins and spirit (especially spirit) it will take to max all of their normal skills out to 10, or as high as they go. Which means no sage/demon or lvl 79 skills.


The contest:

Make a post, or an online document with a link to it that shows how much coins and spirit you would need to max out all of a classes normal skills, at level 100. And please show all of your work. Treat it like high school math homework <

If you want to include 79 skills, lvl 100 skills, and sage/demon ones too. Its okay as long as you show your work XD.


The more classes you include, the more impressed I will be. I especially love sins and seekers, but cost info for venos, clerics, barbs, wizards, blademasters etc will also make me happy.

Have your entries in before the 27th so I can rate them and give out prizes

I tried to calculate for Mystic just for fun because I started playing Mystic a lot after I came back to PWI, and I realized it's freaking expensive to max all the skills b:sweat

I posted this eons ago, not sure where the original post is, but here is a copy from my archive.

We used to say that clerics were the most expensive, because their skills cost more, MP pot use-age ect. After Playing the Psychic for a while I figured the cleric wasn't the most expensive anymore, because skills cost more. So, I got curious and did some research.

This list only counts the coin cost to purchase skills. it does not add in the cost of repairs, grinding time, or hp/mp pot use-age because those factors are too variable. Meaning they change a lot depending on what your build is and how you play.

Cost to max all your Skills to level 10.

• Wizard-->40 Million
• Archer-->34 Million
• Cleric-->29 Million
• Barb-->33 Million
• Veno-->34 Million
• Assassin-->57 Million
• Psychic-->51 Million
• BM:General-->8 Million
  • :Sword-->13 Million
  • :Polearm-->11 Million
  • :Axe/Hammer-->11 Million
  • :Fist/Claw-->11 Million

(54 Million for all BM masteries)

Now, the numbers above don't include the cost of apocalypse pages and medium ink, which you need to make the skill books for your level 79 skills.

If you mean "max out" by sage/demon skills, then these are your numbers:

• Wizard-->77 Million
• Archer-->74 Million
• Cleric-->57 Million
• Barb-->65 Million
• Veno-->71 Million
• Assassin-->101 Million
• Psychic-->90 Million
• BM:General-->28 Million
  • :Sword-->22 Million
  • :Polearm-->19 Million
  • :Axe/Hammer-->19 Million
  • :Fist/Claw-->19 Million

(107 Million for all BM masteries)

These numbers don't include the price of the sage/demon skill book which, depending on what skill, type (sage/demon) and class you are, can go for millions.

Overall, the cheapest class is Cleric while your most expensive class is BM if you max ALL skills, or Assassin.
What does this mean? All of us that complained about clerics and barbs being the most expensive, with Veno's being the cheapest.... well we were all full of ****. O.O

Addition is not high school math. This is elementary school math. The kind of math you are supposed to learn while you are learning how to read and write letters.

It's pretty hard to mess it up unless you mistype a number on your calculator. Either way, Sylen's done all the work. There's not much else that can be done really, except copying all the individual costs off ecatomb, putting it in a nice column, adding a "+" and copying the answer from Sylens post.

Free stuff is nice, but it would be completely undeserved.

Maxing out your skills to the highest they can be prior to Sage/Demon as a seeker would be 38,840,290 coin.

If we want to max out by adding in sage/demon skills, 100s, 79s, and Morai skills, then the cost goes up to 94,390,290 coin.

If we're excluding Morai skills, the cost goes down to 76,890,290 coin.

Naturally, this is excluding the costs of the books themselves, apoc pages, and chrono pages seeing as those tend to vary depending on how you choose to get them as well as depending on the seller(s) if you choose to buy them.

The 203 coin for spark/double spark is something all classes share and isn't really a Seeker Skill... and besides that, it would have been really silly to include that fee. b:chuckle
