    well, after deciphering the OP for a while, it dawned on me that he has things opposite of what i see.

    When gold and gold based items go up in price, the relative value of coins drops. So the person "no who spend dollar" lol, actually is getting crushed financially as everything they do is worth less wrt gold values. This sort of separates the wealthy(read:cs'ers in the pwi realm) further from the poor(read farmers lol)

    is that healthy? idk, we are still finding out.

    IMO, the OP is fairly shallow and is only seeing the increased coins from selling high priced gold. so dyhhh derrrr duuuuuhhhhh, ya he secretly wants gold at 10mil each so he gets 10mil for each one sold. and what, there are a couple of bored r9 cash shoppers left when all the farm types say "**** this noise, we will never have a chance at anything." that sounds like the beginning of the end to me.

    You know, I have bought a few PWI cards...gave them out for Christmas in fact. I, however, don't think that a set gold price is really going to matter with all the greedy ppl that will just see it as a reason to raise their prices even higher.
    I farm my gear personally. I go out and do instances with my faction. Really don't see how that makes me inferior to the OP. Or at least I think that's what he said...really didn't understand much of what he said. If you want to make money ingame...go kill something and ****!

    This is simple economics all the way around.

    The price of gold fluctuates with the demand for gold period!

    The prices of items in the game will fluctuate with availability and gold prices.

    To ask that a preset price on gold or items be set is unreasonable. PWI economy is capitalist not socialist. As soon as you set a price you will harm the game overall. There are too many factors that affect the price of gold and items, and any discussion here would be far too simplistic to really be meaningful.

    Free market prices are actually the best thing for gold and items/mats.

    whats the point in getn 1.7M for 1 gold instead of 1.5M (as it is right now) ?
    if the gold prices rises, most things u pay for rise too.
    cause there was allways a boundary between gold price and the price of mats

    what u just dont get is, people got different needs over the past 4 years. 3 years ago all needed TT mats, later it was Nirvana
    so thats why u get now more mats of some kind (like HH) for 1 gold, like it was 3 years ago
    on the other side
    for example... now u pay 7,5M for a General Summer Token (which is 5 gold)
    if gold goes to 1.7M it will be 8,5M per GST and u won nothing
    (i know cser will just buy the token, its just an example how economy will react to changing gold prices)


    the gold price is rising and rising, and trust me, it will keep rising, since the market gets flooded by coins over and over again.(think of the millions for best lucks, the tw money, the stuff getn npced... systems like the teleporter or the skill npcs, can never take so much money out of the system as it is pumped into it)

    on Archosaur a few players made the price of gold under 1 mil.The few players that is pushed it down is trying to make it 100k per 1 gold like it was years ago.

    How did this turn into a "personal issue"?? Really?!?! just evaluate the subject matter, all other input is "Drivel" as another user said. This thread was started to regulate Gold/coin spending ceilings, not to have your, inconsequential opinions included.

    All personal attacks are rediculous, I could tear apart,your Grammar or express my opinions, on your posts, however I CHOOSE to keep things meaningful in these threads. What is Wrong with you folks?? You cant accept the thread, for what it is??
