Light armor mage build bad at high levels?

I'm a lvl 25 mage who's stuck to the light armor build since lvl 1.

My concern is that at high levels this will water down my class.

Any tips? Any suggestions to hybridize the build at high levels?

later in terms of when you can farm enough coin to buy them (they cost a bunch of millions)

Your concern is accurate. LA offers almost nothing to a high level wizard. Really, after about level 40, it offers nothing to a wizard at any level.

~Pure arcane wizards can still have exceptional defenses, rivaling HA users when wearing Stone Barrier.
~The crit gained from dexterity nowhere near makes up for the loss of average dph in a pure build, and endgame wizzies can still boast 14-20% crit rate depending on their gear.
~As an LA wizard you are more likely to have mobs reach you before you can kill them because of your weaker attacks, meaning you will get hit more often.
~Many mobs after level 60 are magic, many more are hybrid and will range if you stay ranged or melee if you get close. Obviously, you'll pick range and as an LA have less defenses than an AA wiz.
~The refine difference of LA and AA is pretty narrow, but favors LA.
~Your rank gear and most of the best gear for your class is AA. You'll probably end up AA anyways even if you've stated dex/str for LA.

LA wiz is worthless. Learning to kite properly and stay alive with the extra damage is the best route. If you want to have some sustainability think of another class
