a sad mystic

i'm a mystic, and i was doing my "Disaster Falls" quest to get my cragglord. so i use the shovel in my inventory given by the quest to dig the fire cairn, the cragglord appears but unfortunately i died inside valley of disaster. so i go get the quest again and it doesnt give me the shovel this time i go back in anyhow, but i can't summon him again since i cant dig the cairn. u have got to be kidding me. !!!!!!!! so i let my self die again to lose the quest (since it wont let me trash it, its greyed out) and try a third time.... failure

anyone know what i can do to unglitch this quest for one of my skills??

cant believe the ability to get one of the base skills is glitched, completely unbelieveable.

    No, it works perfectly fine.
    After re-taking the quest you need to go get the sword from the stone again, it's in the ruins near Telus, from what I remember.

    Every time you get killed during same "get pet book" quest, you must return to same npc, which gave you quest - Beckenast the First Mage - "World" 357 241 in current case.
