Can't ya'll make the initial download shorter? SHEESH! no one wants to sit around

Just make it clear to people. This game takes OVERNIGHT to download and THEN needs to UPDATE? Who wants to stick around for that? Only people who are already invested. But, while I'm waiting for this ****, I just may find a better or "just as good game"

why make it so long and hard? (no sexual jokes, please)

    I'm afraid it has to do with your internet speed and the manner in which you're downloading the client, which is a massive package of files. I have crappy internet and only use direct downloads, and at one time it told me it would take 27+ DAYS to redownload the entire client. Then I restarted my router and the download was done in 3 hours.

    =\ I'm sorry you're having trouble. I'm tempted to do a clean download again just so I could help walk people through how it's changed.

    The torrent version is faster, but the speeds depend entirely on your internet speed. For me it takes about an hour to download the entire 6GB client installer.
    Also, this client is smaller than many of the newer ones out there of a similar caliber.
