All I'm asking is one small, simple change.

One small simple thing done to the chat options.

The ability to ignore this.

Duke shouts: Let it be known that 'insertplayername' has recently acquired Perfect * Token of Best Luck.


I honestly don't give two craps about this information.
I don't care about "player5" winning "item3" wit a current bid of 5gold.

Please, for the love of what ever god(s) you follow, stop flooding my chat! (/TOT)/

The horns flashing on my screen are annoying enough as it is!
Please Duke, please please please please please, just stop talking. T~T

    Oh, but it's free advertising.

    And they did shut up Duke a few times in the past, only for patches to undo said change somehow.

    I remember when there was a Duke shout about someone making, I think, a Ruby Gem or such back in the day.
    I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. Please, take a second to read a person's username.

    For all we know that one might still be there, it's just that people know better than to make ruby gems these days.

    This "Duke Shouts" stuff is making it hard to chat in squad, in faction, etc. Please, PWI, shut that off or give us the option to do it. It's really taking away from enjoyment of the game.

    Also, the horns show up in the chat window, then again on the screen.... what is up with that? Is it a glitch?

    You know "free advertising" is not what the Duke is doing... his announcements are totally and completely irrelevant to anything. If anything it makes me NOT want to buy anything that might get my game-play announced in the chat window. Honestly I am SICK SICK SICK of that "Duke Shouts" BS.

    Start listening to your players more, PWI, or soon you won't have enough to keep the lights on. Take a lesson from Games Masters' PW Multi-language Service. They are GONE

    I starting to think some players are using 3rd party stuff to get gold for packs for I see duke shout the same name all day very a lot as well. In 1 hour time I see name like _GGG more then 40 times with s/he got some rare item.

    I completely agree about shutting Duke up, the spam is irritating since its mostly people who buy a ton of the current packs of random that happen to be on sale. I don't care that "RitchBasemantDweller" just got a ton of items because he bought who knows how many packs, that is not anything to be proud of, things like reaching a high rank, doing the most damage, or other things that don't happen every two seconds are things I don't mind seeing.

    As for those annoying horns, come on PWE, you give those things out like they are candy and serve no use other to annoy everyone, get rid of them and replace them with something that is actually useful.
