Jones Blessing / Facebook issues - any thoughts out there?

I've reposted this from the beginners section since I got no answers there...

Would the pop-up blocker in explorer 9 cause this? - edit - just deactivated popup blocker and made no difference. Once I hit 'allow' the fb page disappears. The blessing page doesnt change.

    Bumping this in case someone new reads and can offer advise. Ive turned off Norton firewall, turned off pop-up blocker. When I sign into facebook, it prompts me to allow connection to PWI and i hit "Okay" - no option for "allow" comes up. After I hit that the facebook just closes and the blessing page stays the same with no option to choose a server/character.

    I use Chrome, only issue I've had with the Facebook page was when they had royally screwed up the database.

    Might try submitting a ticket.

    I usually use IE9 with the popup blocker in paranoid mode, it does affect the pop-up to log-in, but you can override that by holding ctrl and alt, or permanently allowing PWEs site to pop up things. (There's no other pop-ups, at least nto automatic ones, onsite so this isn't a bad idea.) Sometimes however it simply borks.

    I use Opera when this happens, it usually works just fine. It can randomly bork on any browser though, so it's worth having 2 installed just in case :P
    I've quit excluding TW for my faction. But I still hang around to help out those who still enjoy the game under PWEs horrific handling and to have fun in the forums. b:cute

    If you make a valid complaint, your thread will disapear. Don't post it here, post it on other sites where PW can't hide it.

    Whenever that happens to me (Post appears on facebook but the blessing page doesn't change) I just click a different link, say the forums, then click on the Facebook Connect link again and the drop down boxes appear fine.

    I have the exact same issue. Also already posted it in the general Jones Blessing bug thread.
    The only way for me to obtain a blessing is by clicking the flashy banner on the PWI start up screen.

    Thank you all for your advice. I downloaded google chrome and tried it through that and it worked !!!! (the second time anyway - dont know why it didnt work the first time) Thanks again.
