Srry to bother but if anyone know another link do this would be useful, was just wondering if the lvl 100 buddhas guard skill is any good/worth getting. I seen bms use it in pvp, yet they still get ***** with it on. Supposely it's suppose to raise p def a ton but the dmg i did against the bm was still a lot and no im not r9. Was going nv claw bm against nv claw bm. I didnt notice a difference when he used it. I did about same dmg.

I have it and the only time I use it is on the last boss in full Warsong. I only use it if aps or frenzy isn't purged or we don't kill the add fast enough. It does give 1k pdef for 10 for the squad and heals the caster. OH I also use it in Tourney right before we enter the next room to give the squishies a better chance to survive the 1st attack. Never really used it in pk or tw, maybe once or twice to try and save the cleric or wiz from a sin. Is it a good skill? Yes. Do you have to have it? No. Fully buffed and with p marrow on, when I use it I get a little over 100k pdef. It's cool and all but it's easy for someone to kite you while its up so I don't find it that useful.0

Buddha's Guard is glitched in that it has an unlisted cap of 90% damage reduction. If phys marrowed already alot of BM's are around 25k-35k pdef anyways, so it doesn't always do much for us. On our character screen we may be showing 80k+ pdef but we are still only resisting 90% of damage. But it's not really made for our own benefit, it's a squad buff.
Most arcane classes reach over 35k pdef and 90% resistances, or you can combine it with magic marrow and still reach it's max resistance.
It's a very decent skill for o'sht situations and death charges or saving squishies but won't make much of a difference for a BM if they already are near 35k pdef.Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory0 -
use in TW/pk if u have a balance genie, yes p.deff like deff lvls hit an effective cap but balance give's you a magic shell to sponge up damage based on the difference btwn ur 2 deffences. So the bigger the difference in ur m,deff and p.deff the bigger the sponge so to speak, also a nice emergency skill for pk (occasionally tw) while ur in m.marrow and a sin pops out to say hi.
decent skill to get but not ur top priority0
