And I was wondering what the top classes aside from the Assassin are, this would be for a PvP Server unless someone can convince me PvE Servers are better.

Also Please tell me the Top Classes for if you Pay, and if you dont intend on Paying.

Please and thank you for your time.

Theres really no "Better-than-the-rest" class in PWI, it all comes down to personal preferences in my opinion.
Otherwise, pretty much everyone would be running around being that class.
Some people prefer to be squishier but put out alot of damage either up close(Assassin) or by far (Archers), While some other people enjoy staying up close and being able to take a beating(Barbs/BMs/Seekers). Now im not saying that any of the non-HA classes cant tank, it all depends on the character you have, how you've built him and how you actually play him. Id say that you should take a deeper look on each and every class, check out the viable builds for them all and then reach a decision on your own, you will only be greeted by biased comments or other people saying you should choose what you want yourself here.

    What he said.

You can have 8 characters per server, so pick a server you want (PvP if you want to fight other people and be fought, PvE if not... it's easy as that) and then just try out a couple that sound interesting. Maybe you'll like the assassin's style and speed, or maybe you'll want to hit with big numbers from afar as a psychic or wizard. Or maybe both... no one ever said you can only have one character. Most of us have 3 or 4 decently leveled characters at this point.

There really is a "Better-than-the-rest" class in PWI, it doesn't come down to personal preferences in my opinion.
Concordantly, pretty much everyone should be running around being a seeker.
Some people prefer to be tanky and put out alot of damage either up close (Seeker) or from afar (Seeker). While some other people enjoy staying up close and being able to take a beating(Seeker/Seekers/Seekers). Now, I am saying that all of the non-Seeker classes can't tank, it all depends on the seeker you have, how you've built him/her and how you actually play him/her. I'd say that you should take a deeper look on each and every seeker, check out the only viable build for seeker and then reach a decision based on what I'm telling you. You will only be greeted by comments or other people saying you should choose seeker here.

    Depends.
If you chose an arcane: be prepared to be targeted by sins.
My personal preference is mystic, very versatile. And you get free pets ^^

Hahaha, I'm so glad i read this. My seeker is 93 and I'm really enjoying playing it, but its always a toss up whether I should keep levelling my sin (81). After reading this I'm going to keep persevering with my seekers thanks. b:victory

Since a sin wearing tt99, nirvy, and rank 8 gears can compete with full rank 9 JoSD characters, it is definitely the cheapest class to play. If you were looking for cheap. However, people tend to not like sins and they are not easily accepted in big TW factions.

As far anything goes 1v1 with best gears possible, I would put barb as top dog.

For TW/mass/group pvp, I would put wiz as best.

PVP and TW are different, sins are the untouchable caste for TW but kings of PVP.

Either Psys or Archers pwn the most due to money. Psys are dependent on Soulfource which is dependent on refines which is dependent on money. R9 gear for archers is just OP thats all there is.

Best class for non CSers is a much more complicated subject.
