Question about Mods

So, on every mod's signatures they post a link to send them a message if you have an issue with something.

I had an issue with something, messaged a mod about it since they were the one to cause the problem I had, but they ignored me. I sent another message about 4-5 days later and remained to be ignored.

Here is my question. Why put something as "Have a problem? Talk to us about it!" in your signature when you just ignore people that do message you?

    Kinda depends on the request? I'd rather a guess they can't comment on everything.

    Maybe they get alot of pm's I'm guessing, also maybe they don't have time to check them because they are monitoring the fourms.

    I politely messaged said moderator both times about a thread that I and others thought were improperly removed and placed into the Lower Depths. The thread was about a topic between a couple of people on HT (it was on the HT forums, was HT related and there was no rules being broken in that thread) and the thread got moved to the LD without a post saying why it was being moved. This happened two weeks ago and I've yet to hear ANYTHING about this. I even talked to KrittyKat about this (does he mod here anymore?) on MSN and even he agreed with me that the thread was improperly moved.

    Can't say everyone's perfect, don't stress this is PWI they do whatever they feel is beneficial towards the community.

    Kritty was the only decent mod around. The others take things way too personally, and having such thin skin should have disqualified them from their post.

    Kritty not only replied promptly to PMs but will take the initiative to PM you if HE feels it's something that should be discussed via PMs. He doesn't do that passive aggressive "Problem? Shut the F up and PM me so I can decide if I actually want to reply or not" ****. The thing that set Kritty and, way back in history, Spoons, apart from other mods is if they see a problem they will solve it as professionally as possible. They will PM you instead of insist you PM them, they will take comments about their behaviour without taking it on a personal level, they don't try to ban you in-game if you kill them (LOL Yes I still remember that).

    Now the mods lock threads randomly, don't lock the ones that should be locked, close and delete everything that doesn't absolutely praise them, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if I come back tonight and this thread is gone.


    Jha's comments may have been quite strong but as a regular voice on HT I bet nobody else would have been offended by what he said if he aimed at them, because that's just the way he is. But alas, touchy mods...

    It will be. Discussion of moderator isn't something they allow in threads. Even Kritty. If you have a problem with them PM the mods. That is what they say every time a thread like this pops ups.

    If you PM just one moderator and only them even after they haven't replied to you, it's either they're busy, unavailable or haven't read your PM yet, so I recommend you PM more than one moderator when you have a concern regarding topics. We're on at different times and not able to respond promptly to every PM, but we do our best.

    Like VenusArmani mentioned I have to close this topic now, but do feel free to PM me with your issue so I can see if I can help you with it.
