Iceprison Wraith vs. Mutant Whirler Turtle?

I was thinking, should I have a turtle or a wraith as my water pet? The wraith looks cool but it's only lvl 18 while I need a higher lvl pet, unless I have to go grind for pet exp.
I don't go fight in water much but should I pick the turtle or wraith?
Or maybe there is an other good water pet that is near my lvl? b:victory

The Iceprison Wraith is actually a land pet (and not a very good one at that).[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

There are some okay water pets at your level, mostly undines. Turtles are better but they're a pain to level and you won't really need them after 60.
<.< Are you trying to drown your Iceprison Wraith? It can't swim. b:shocked[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Really? I've been living a lie! xD
The database said it could swim.

=P I'm fairly sure they can't swim. (Iceprisons are a personal favorite of mine, despite not being the best at attacking, they're so fun to drag around archosaur and stuff).[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I would recommend just using whatever water pet is closest to your level whenever you get a water quest (or which ever water pet looks the most fun to you). There are not many water quests so you will not have much use for it. Also, most venos go for the plumefish once they hit 80 which will save you a lot of work leveling a turtle.

Yea, just tested it out. Can't swim. Darn you database...
Alright, I'll just stick to a turtle, thanks everyone. (:youtube.com/trish199968

Level 5 Abysmal Turtle, maybe? Excellent for grinding at water if you'd like to level him. b:shutupEnglish isn't my primary language. b:surrender0
