noob question: Who is buying all the Nirvana mats?

I'm still trying to figure out who is buying all the nirvana mats that farmers are getting. Every player I know who uses nirvana gear has a toon that can and does regularly farm nirvana so they don't need to buy them. Who exactly is buying all these mats?

    catshops in the raging tides area. Alot horde them till the prices go back up then sale again. It is usualy why you see alot of catshops then a few at times. Plus non-merchants mabye buying them too, make their gear and move on. You will never see those mats.

    Many of us found better ways to farm coin so we bought many of our cannies.

    Those of us who don't have nirvana gear or something similar to farm nirvana yet? I bought all my cannies and raps for my the nirvaned pieces on my sin. I ran aeu to get the pants and I did things like TT/Merch/BH to get the money for the daggers on my sin. I've only been in nirvana like 4-5 times myself.

    Wut?

    I bought most of the cannies for my first pair of vana pants. Back then as a 3.33 sparked bm I wasn't farming much vana at all, and farming coin in other ways and buying was the easiest way to get started.

    Even now, if I was making a piece of vana gear and was short a hundred cannies, I'd buy. They're fairly cheap and I can farm coin in plenty of better ways than running vana when it isn't 2x.

    I bought some to make nirvana pants for my bm and sin.

    The reason people actually set up so many catshops buying is because they merchant or use them. If you set a cat, you can buy them up for cheaper and save some good money if you're making gears.

    Someone who's too impatient for the wedding candy option for r9r and is getting it via rap/canny method. (Gl whoever wasted 7.5bil for it)

    There maybe alot of people able to farm vana now, but they probably don't want to farm all of what they need for the rest of their gear or for their alts. So alot of people are either getting raps for a wep or cannies for armor and using what they don't need to buy more of what they do need.

    Not to mention that all the r9 single cast that now what 3rd cast have to get 2nd cast which takes a lot of cannies and raps to make the tokens I believe, unless that needed item is straight in the CS which wouldn't surprise me.
