How many AoEs do you have?

Yeah, except for the part about being upset. Yeah, it bothers me to see a veno standing around or passing sparks to others instead of using Nova (unless they're utterly weak). One of the points of posting was to suggest a possibly better way to discriminate (than asking for weapon link since Fox Myriad is arguably more important). Another was that it would encourage more activity from venos, and finally it would raise awareness that they can do much more than what they're typically doing.

Imagine a Barb that doesn't get Frighten because it does no dmg. Now relate that to a veno's Beffudling Mist which does do dmg, and protects the tank a bit. Imagine a BM not getting Heaven's Flame because it's expensive (close to same price as Fox Myriad) and not so great for soloing, or because it uses sparks.

My original plan when making squads was just to avoid venos altogether, but it's not the class that's a problem: it's the players behind the class. It's not just that class that has bad players either. I was in a squad recently with 3 claw bms that failed to complete wave 2! Clerics show up with vit build and G13 Morai unsharded/ unrefined. Instead of just completely ignoring the ones I don't know: I'm at least giving them a chance now.

Gotta love how some venos come to downplay Malefic Crush as if it only burns chi. Here's the Sage version:

-That's pretty good dmg regardless of weapon, but sparks are better for Nova until Chi aura is up. Also consider; do you want veno standing there *maybe* casting venomous or hitting this skill during the HF/SSS/Myriad combo?

I don't think I've ever turned down a Psy for RB. I've even taken them when people tell me we need a BM.

9,300 damage spread over 30 seconds is actually pretty weak.
demon sunder does base damage + 200% weapon damage up front + an additional 9245 damage over 30 seconds. The bleed damage equates to around 500-600 damage per tick, which is kinda meh pve damage, would be even lower in pvp. If the DoT duration were to be shortened, the damage per tick would be higher and more beneficial.

Anywho, its not just about how many AoE attacks a person has, its about how they play their character. You can be a crappy geared sin and still be a damn good benefit to the team if you are using subsea followed by earthen rift at the same time the BM uses HF.

That's actually typical. A good sin bent on AoE will Chill of the Deep, Wolf Emblem, and Powerdash or erupt as well. -and shame: because I think I mentioned this in the first post.

As long as attack aura isn't involved a "good" sin will:
Chill of the Deep -> Spark -> Wolf Emblem -> Rising Dragon -> Powerdash -> Inner Harmony -> Subsea Strike -> Earthern Rift


If they're low on chi/lazy/attack aura is up then they can omit spark and save themselves from needing to use rising dragon or harmony depending on their preference. This excludes having a frenzy/mire genie that they can use both simultaneously with to boost their damage (and that of all phys DDs in squad) further with.


Of course, a good sin will likely be using most of their skills as the situation calls for it to make things easier on everyone. Same with all classes really. If someone asks me how many skills I use on almost any character I have the appropriate response would be all of them... simply because they'll almost all have uses even if highly situational ones.

I more or less do the combo you stated, though I don't powerdash due to my current crit rate being high enough, and I use toxic torrent after rift.

I normally do WE->Triple spark->Mire while sparking->IH and Frenzy at the same time->SS->Rift->Torrent->RDS->TS->Rift->Knife throw/chi gain until rift's off cd-> Rift.

The max I've done was around a 270k Rift through HF, and that's a lot in Delta.

I said feel is appropriate, not be a cheap ****. I tend to pull the max I can out of the characters I play, but I still wouldn't deal with some ******* demanding to know which moves I have and their levels.

Especially when it comes to my cleric, I ****ing hate ********s who think vit is fail. Corpses don't heal, and without money, I'd have no HP. As is I still get dropped by random R9s in one hit with mid power skills every so often. I sit here in a TT90-99/Legend/Event gear mix and heal just fine with 196 vit equipped and a +5 Neon Purg.

Your overopinionated views are the worst type of views, you just don't allow anyone else to play as they like, or be poor, or just not have the time / resources to be the utter best.

Venos combo at RB should start like that : Noxious Gas - Nova - Noxious Gas - Fox - Rainbow - Befuddling Mist - Befuddling Mist - Fox - Noxious Gas - anykind of Cast till CD of Noxious Gas - Noxious Gas - Fox - Befuddling Mist .... and so on

Since Noxious Gas Cooldown is 6s and Befuddlings only 3s u can use 2x Befuddling in the cooldown time of Noxious . Ah and Fox Form got 6s cooldown aswell . If u cycle through like that u can perm AoE.
And for the once saying the DMG of befuddling not worth for Arcane once check out the DMG of Pure arcane + Sage http://pwcalc.com/9130c3ab1a8b0c8 combine that with
