- Hey, I Just Wanted to Ask.. Do You Prefer Garnet Shards On Bow, Or Metal Shards ..
- Also, I Heared That The Element Shards Doesnt Work With Auto Attack, Only Skills..

    Garnets would boost all of our damage, is affected by dex, and buffs (including sparks) boost the effectiveness. Elemental shards only work for auto-attacks and is a static damage increase that can only be increased by debuffing an opponents m.def.


    Basically... the only reason to use elemental shards is for lulz.

    Just shard garnets. Like truekossy said, magic shards only work with normal attacks and it's just that little damage. Not worth it.

    Wrong, elemental shards work only on melee attacks (skills as well, but then again not sure about bows / xbows ), I have swapped an average garnet shard with an average amethyst shards on this weapon . Frankly I noticed that I was killing faster with the water dmg shard on the weapon than the pure physical one on my seeker lvl39+ then. Though I just noticed that it does less damage on magic resistance + than the garnet shards.

    I would choose garnet over alabaster shards imho, not sure about the mix up with elemental damage adds and buffs that aren't the same element like hitting a metal elemental mob with fire arrow buff while having metal shards on.
    I, II and III spark is the most cheesiest skill in PWI and it should be removed or massively nerfed.
