On todays patch notes "Clarified that the skills Bow Mastery & Winged Blessing grants an extra 1% crit rate when user equips the Wings of Winged Elves aerocraft" , so by clarify they are just saying it does give crit, they still give right? please tell me so i dont wanna loose my 47% crit b:cryb:cryb:cry

    They've always done that and their behavior hasn't changed. People didn't notice it until relatively recently.

    i dont wanna loose any of my 57% base after recast armor + 5 from base +25 from galvanic aura gonna be 87 crit :D b:cute

    I am willing to bet that this is a bug that they have no clue how to fix, so instead they spin it as a "perk" of going demon and happening to use the white wings :p

    Odds are you're right.... which is just more good news for demons I suppose.

    On the flip side, it means to be at our best we have to use basic white wings instead of any other fancy wings we may or may not have.

    Psh how often are we even flying in a PvP situation anyways besides maybe open world PvP (Which is rare to find these days). Besides 2.0 speed isn't THAT bad (From level 10 flight mastery).

    And they should give us sages some kind of compensation for the larger gap >_>

    I'm not sure.. I think it could be intentional because it seems so unlikely to arise from an accident. I am having difficulty imagining the code structured in a way where it would accidentally give a crit bonus even if you assume they based the code on the winged mastery skill.

    As an example the closest I could think of would be something like: 
    func ApplyBuffs():
	foreach skill in player->skill:
		if skill->type == PASSIVE && skill->validate(player->equipment):
			Apply(skill->buffeffect)

    Even if you assume they accidentally copied the equipment validation requirements from winged mastery, this code wouldn't explain getting the crit twice.

    I have never really read the description of the skill until now, but it precisely said:
    "Demon version increases ranged weapon critical hit rate by 1% and an additional percent with Wings of Winged Elves"

    An additional percent sounds like +1% but may also means a certain amount of percent.
    Meanning that at least +1% crit with white wings is legitimate and not a glitch and wont be removed.
    I doubt the other percent (to make the +2%) is a glitch either.

    The part about the extra crit was added to ecatomb after a wizard posted the info here.
