BM on a budget looking for advice

Hello brothers and sisters. Title pretty much says it all. I'm not a competitive BM (ie: I don't really plan on spending my endgame doing pvp) so I'm not exactly looking to invest a lot of cash into the most pro gear possible. What I want to do here is share what I'm planning and hopefully get feedback from other experienced players on whether I'm making a good investment.

Simply put, I've so far obtained tt99 light bracers and footwear for the aps boost. I have the 99 heavy plate and I'd like to get a lionheart necklace or belt for an additional boost. I think one of them is half the price of the other, but I'm still sorting my options. Since the three items are bound, I don't necessarily want to do away with them because it'd be a waste. I think my armor build will pretty much be based on those parts. I still have tt90 leggings; not sure how I want to replace them yet.

My main concern is I'm considering forking up the 80bucks to go rank 8 (i dont do well with rep) and use the pole axe as my final axe weapon (I believe it costs 6m and can be upgraded?). I MAY get the fists as well...I'm currently using deicides which may be weaker in power but stronger in ability so I may hold on to them. I guess I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything better for equal or less value (or you know, a better deal overall).

well you can only get one r8 weapon
and getting the belt is a good idea even though its more expensive letting you use an mdef neck or something with +5% hp

Lionheart belt if you already have the chestplate bound. Get a 5% HP necklace.

You'll be seeking 2nd stage nirvana pants next.

You can only get 1 rank 8 weapon unfortunately.

Now, you need to decide where you are going in terms of Claws and Axe. Rank 8 may be a waste for you if you don't *need* the axe or the armor. If youre going to use the armor, and maybe one day shoot for Rank 8 recast or Rank 9, go for it. The axe is nice, recast is nice...but by no way needed.

Claws-
You can do totally fine with decent refined Deicides or 1st stage nirvana claws.

Axe-
Axe is really dependent on if you are going to PVP, and really what you plan to use them for. Lunar axes work just fine for PvE, as do Calloused Lionhearts.

Kinda overall with your post - get a Lionheart Belt and a 5% HP necklace. Work on hitting 5.0 Sparked. Any axe will do for FF and Nirvana, and really even the new BHs. Past that it's mostly refines on the gear, and where you want to progress via farming.

This seems like pretty sound advice so far.

So I think as of now I'm going to budget for the 99 belt, ugh 30mil on average on DW, I feel pretty good about the R8 poleaxe as well since I'm mostly pve and I think it's decent if I wanted to pvp anyway, and I think I'll get the wraithgate robe for lvl 60 just for an added aps boost. I'm don't rely on aps but I know it's useful and this should at least get me 4 sparked with some decent damage. The rest is a good helmet and refines/shards I suppose.

I agree with whats been said so far. I believe the belt is the cheaper piece, and the neck spot is more valuable to have a mdef cube neck than a mdef warsong belt (since r9 belt is out of your range, I'd say those are the two endgame options). I see it as either TT99 neck and warsong belt, or TT99 belt and cube neck. The TT99 belt + cube neck option is better.

As for R8 axes, since you're pve only have you consider the Morai axes? The G13s are on par with R8 and completely free. If you join Luminance it'll take you about 3.5 months to farm the G15 axes which are almost as good as R9, and only for 17m. This will save you the option of not going R8, or going R8 and picking another weapon like fist, sword, or pole. Since you can only pick one R8 weapon and can't change your choice after its picked.

Im thinking now that I'll save more in the long run if I just shoot for the G15s, cheap and seem pretty epic as far as raw power (stats seem shaky). I haven't familiarized myself with the morai quests much so I don't quite understand why it's take 3+ months to farm it, but I suppose I'll find out . I'll be using my 97mold hammers in the meantime and probably nab the rest of my armor while I farm

The reason it takes 3+ months to farm is because you need to earn 5000 prestige to get them and can only get a few quests daily to earn prestige. It may take less time now that the Commander Badge is released which gives you 80% more prestige up to about 2000 prestige.

There is a weekly quest that gives you 60 prestige. There are two daily quests that give you 20 prestige (or you might get a single purple quest that gives you 40 prestige) and then there is a timed daily quest for 1 hour that gives you 30 (?) prestige. So you can earn 70 prestige a day, 550 a week. With the commander badge bonus that's 990 a week. The commander bonus doesn't start till you have 550 prestige and will expire after you've earned 2000 bonus prestige. Maybe 2.5 months total I guess.

There is also a server event for 60 prestige on the weekend.
