just curious but could a 99 chan cleric be permasparked?

    Possible. You won't be doing much dd though, since you will be mostly spamming buffs and heals. So kinda pointless.

    Nope.

    In order to be permasparked you need to earn 300 chi every 15 seconds. Casting time cannot be reduced, only -channeling. So our best chi:cast time ratio'd attack (not sure about all the skills like buffs and heals) is Wield Thunder. I assume we're talking about attacking, not just permasparking to spark.

    So Plume Shot gets 5 chi for 1 second cast.
    Cyclone 10 chi:1 second cast
    Wield Thunder 15 chi 1.2 second cast. <best attack chi:cast ratio.
    Razor Feathers 10 chi 1.5 second cast
    Chromatic Healing Beam gets 20 chi:1 second <best heal for chi:cast ratio.

    Anyway. Assume there isn't a 6 second cooldown on Wield Thunder and you were just spamming it 1 second for 15 chi with no game lag, channeling, animation or anything. That's still only 2.25 sparks in 15 seconds. That's roughly an equivilant attack speed of 2.86 aps btw.

    To get "perma spark" you need 20 chi a second. Chromatic Healing Beam with 0 channeling, 0 lag, and no cooldown would give you that but unfortunately it has a cooldown. It would be pretty cool if you could triple spark and chromatic every second spam and keep doing it permanently, it'd be one of the most powerful heal techniques in the game.

    yes its very possible, but you will need a genie that can supply u chi and recover energy faster that you spend it. channeling isnt the main thing, it wont get you too far, even at 99%. (a perspective, aps gets 20chi per second for permaspark. no plain magic skill can get you 20 chi per second no matter wat ur channeling is). if you get chi siphon and put a ton of lucky point magic into ur genie, that is pretty much all u need to permaspark. u will need a lot of LP thou. i have a 89LP not pure magic genie, and it comes pretty close to permaspark.
    the loser fail nab cleric from dreamweaver who quit pwi, but still wanders the forums.

    Cleric Skill CD is pretty prohibitive with -chan builds.

    Unless you're fine with spamming non-attacks it isn't near possible, even considering what Saku has written above.
