Events actualy happening?

If they want to make a event dont say assault on friday 5 pm because on our server there was no event. People were waiting for hours there.
This is because of the stupidity of the GM.
Is this a way to avoid that player get money through events,so u dont give a event and want to force peole to buy more :P .
Why dont we make event Assault on GM,would be beter
