Instead of a map reset...

I wonder how it would go if they just sent out a massive wraith attack every so often. Like just pick a random normal TW weekend and then flood the map with wraith pve TW attacks that would all take place in the same time slot. The wraiths could attack every single land that is not being bid on.

I know people don't like the reset to start with, but having the wraiths actually fight for them and factions being able to fight to try and keep them makes more sense than just giving the wraiths back all the land for no reason.

This is not a suggestion. I am just wondering how people think that would affect the TW system here opposed to a reset.

The point of the reset is to give smaller factions a chance to do TW.

So what if you make these wraith attacks easy? Almost any faction can overcome them and it's just like we have no reset at all, the map will slowly get dominated by one or two factions.

And what if it's hard? Only the strongest faction(s) can overcome them and the smaller ones get wiped off the map without even doing pvp.

So it really wouldn't help at all...

Say the strongest faction had 15 lands. Would it easily defend a 3 way gank with 12 PvE TWs at the same time?

have a max number of lands a faction can hold (maybe 5 lands)... but make it where the 1st land u own is XXX coins.... the 2nd you own is XXX coins x2...the 3rd land owned is XXX coins x3... ect so the big factions (lik2 they need anymore coin) can still make thier money but leaving extra lands that smaller factions can fight for...

so if you hold 3 lands its getting paid for 6 lands...

yes it's simple, 1 person to each of the PvE's till the 3 ganks are steamrolled and then steamroll the PvE even faster. The only thing your suggestion would do would make it so that smaller factions (2-5 lands) would be forced to split themselves up to combat PvP and PvE which would make it harder for them to hold lands.

you cannot change the nature of a game with artificial rules to satisfy the players. if you do, then the game usually becomes lame.

you cannot change chess so both players can win. you cannot change tennis tournaments so everybody reaches the final match.

TW needs to stay as it was, a challenge for who faction is strongest.
maybe put a reset after a faction dominates the map (or the map minus a couple of lands) for ~2 weeks (and monitor fake tws).

ofc, what happens to the smaller factions? just introduce TW without land gain (fac base battles was a nice step).
    you only purge once #yopo
