Confused newbie about the Spiritual level.

Hello~
I'm currently a level 13 Venomancer but I haven't been able to update my skills for some time. I tried to wait it out but I don't seem to be able to learn new skills.

When I go to the Venomancer to learn skills I get a pop up saying that I don't have the required Spiritual cultivation level; however the required amount it less than 1/8 of how much Spirit my character has. I'm confused if I'm misunderstanding how Spirit level works, and how I can go about learning skills for my character?

PS; I'm someone who really enjoys chatting while playing, does anyone know generally how open this game is to new players and just hanging around having fun while playing?

    Check your skill tree..hover your mouse over each skill and you will see at what lvl you can learn next lvl of each skill, and what spirit culti lvl it needs before you can take it, if your lvl 13 your next spirit cultivation quest is at lvl 19.
    to upgrade skills you need spirit pts and coin.

    Can only say for Dreamweaver server that its a helpful friendly server, finding a good faction is the key though,

    Hello and welcome to PWI!
    Hope you enjoyed it so far.About the problem with your skills,and spiritual cultivation ......all i can say is that spiritual cultivation and the spirit points (needed to learn new skills) aren't the same thing.

    Spiritual cultivation is a quest chain that u get to complete at least every 10 levels to be able to learn new skills and most of the time they appear as a pop-up.You should have gotten a pop-up at level 9 and now when u look into your quest log and scroll down there should be an orange quest.You have to complete these quests to be able to learn new skills.

    Go to Perfect World International>>> Game info >>> Spiritual cultivation. There u can find everything related to these quests.

    Ahh You have not done your spirit cultavation quests.

    Quest (Press Q) -> Orangish Colored Quest. ^ ^ When that is gone you will be able to get your further skills. Otherwise your stuck with what you got now. :\

    EDIT: It will change Spritual Initiate to Spiritual Adept when completed.

    Lucy_a ; Aaaah, that explains it xD I guess it was just both the names involving 'Spirit' that had me confused, but thats very helpful thank you! ~
    I was wondering why that quest was orange! XD <3
