So after 3.5 years of playing what could have been an awesome game is over for me,
I've been updated out of game, ...no funds for update on my pc...
My time here ive enjoyed so much, ive meet some awesome ppl along the way, im sad to have seen all the power lvl'n in FC and the greed of pwi AND may cash players..oh ive spent some along the way...but little compared to many, i know they keep the game alive...but to what end?... to kill a game... PWI is just a shadow of its former self so mabe being unable to play anymore is a good thing for me... i dont wona see a game i loved die before my eyes,
I'm sure many will troll an say ima QQ but im happy to go now, mabe i do QQ for the PWI i loved but thats all.. i do have RL!!

I really understand the power leveling gone out of hand and PWI was a shadow as it was used to but the game was even easier back then for non-cash shopped players because people knew their skills then, but many cash players keeps the game running, so you should not think about them.0 -
I'm getting close to deleting all of my characters, including my gear, coins, and rare stuff, and calling it good.
When given a choice between BL, MC, and PWI, I have been picking BL and MC more.
When BL2 comes out, there's a 99% chance I will stop playing PWI until I am bored of BL2, and by then, BioShock 3 will be out, so rinse and repeat.
For me, the biggest deterrent to playing this game is inability to find squads for stuff like, say, BH29. It's easier to have a factionmate just solo it for me, or to run it for myself on one of my 90+ characters.

Everytime a player leaves this game, Pan Gu kills a cub barb.
Sad to see you go. I've never spent much in this game, and I remain mostly oblivious to all the QQing and complaints everyone else has. Maybe because I just focus on playing with my friends. I guess it's a blessing.

Because um... well you know... maybe they want to use it as a general "all in one" way of saying good bye to the many friends they made in a game they once loved (that they loved this game is made clear by the OP). It's also an opportunity to point out exactly what drove them from the game they love.
Hence I see no reason for one of PWI's resident attack dogs to jump on a genuine thread like this. b:bye

I was refering to the quote below me but that's ok. I can understand where you might get confused. No one was being an attack dog? I can't speak for anyone else, but when I leave, I'm gonna rant. XD And by that I mean, I'm gonna write a wall-o-text so big that it'll probably eclipse anything else I've written on this forum. It's not about how many people read it or care. /shrug I hold no grudges over petty things. Especially when it comes to a simple video game. People who get overly emotional over things (no offense intended to those) need to perhaps seek some help. Games are ment to be enjoyed. If you can't enjoy them why continue it? Just like it baffles me about how people complain and rage in shooter games when a player uses a "noob" weapon or w/e. It's just meh. /flustering when people get w/e over such trivial things. Well the terrible thing is how some people need to go emotionally insane with a game in order to enjoy it. All those MMO addicts who tried to sell their immediate family members for gear have to come from somewhere, y'know. Funnily enough, I'm reminded of that one thread from reeeeally early on about how some kid tried to blow all his grandparent's money on PWI, and how the admin who heard that story was touched by it. Reminds me of back when the admins actually gave a **** around here. >_> (EDIT: Found it.)
Anyway, ijs you don't have to have a grudge to have something to say. There are plenty of healthy ways to have a "clean break" from a game (or anything else in life). If your way is to vanish without a trace, I won't judge. :P[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

It is because a lot of people either moving onto other MMORPGs or just doing something else other than play another game again. I can understand why, this game is poorly managed with a ton of broken things for cash shopper's advantage. This game does not make any sense anymore and the veterans are very much spoiled rather rushing their alts to 101 than teaming up with the new players so they don't quit that fast. I always enjoyed my low/mid levels, but when I got to high level, it is pretty fun. I think the main reasons people post that they are leaving, is because they do/did care so much about the game. Would you waste all the effort to write a lot about something you didn't care about?
You post to let those who don't have you in facebook know that you quit, because there are always the people who wonder, where did such and such go.
You also post hoping that some GM will read it (like that will ever happen) and maybe make an effort to change things to stop more leaving. After all it starts with a few, but before you know it, it snow balls into an exodus in the end.
Some people may leave, because they don't want to see the heart wrenching end that they have seen before.
I, like many, have made many friendships here and still have those many friends in my facebook and chat with them on a regular basis. 50% of them have already left. I think the saddest part about it, is not the game itself, but all the friendships you could have made and the jokes you will miss and the funny things you wont get to see. After all you are dealing with real people here. Many do forget that, because of their selfish ways.
There is more to a game then the pixels. This game used to be about more then the pixels, but know it is about $$$ and how many R9 pixels I can get with those $$$. People have become very selfish in this game and its hard to experience what we used to experience 3.5 years ago. I have also played for that long to and trust me when I say, this game is no where near as fun and entertaining as it used to be.0 -

Hell i dotn even know why i still play,i guess its a habit now days..do bh and ****,nothing else really sparks me any intrest,just to make coin..reroll a toon to 100,do same **** with jsut more bh's tacked on.
Prob play this because really dont have no intrest in another game yet or something,or prob just slowly growing out of this hell hole and eventually will call it one day.But untill then ill just keep doing what im doing to kill time.This game is like washing hair with shampoo... Rinse and repeat if desired.
