I tested it and for me it seems faster with QS > take aim.
I don't rely on the demon effect from quickshot that much because if it doesn't work you can still insta cast take aim which is faster than auto-attacking without the demon effect c:.

So this is a potentially nab question, so apologies in advance. Is there any math behind the insta take aim and charging take aim, i.e. the 400% weapon damage effect is that what is being charged, so insta take aim is just normal damage plus 100% weapon damage and a fully charged is normal damage plus 400% (demon) weapon damage and this is a linear progression? Or does the number of sec determine the steps up i.e a 1sec charged TA is the same as a 1.5sec TA and it only steps up at 2sec. I blame my OCD o.o

I know. I wasted 2 hours last sunday and didnt find a single real battle, the map is too huge. Maybe ill just run solo battle hunting instead of trying to be strategic with a partner.

I've never really thought of how it calculated the damage for non charmed take aim. figured since fully charged take aim (demon) is 400% of base attack, it chooses a random value from your phys attack range then multiplies it by a maximum of 4, based on time spent charging proportionally, then puts defenses into calculations
