R9 weapons for BM's plz <3

Hi,

Just one reminder in hope some top shot GM would read this and give it a shot with developers.

After 4 years I do not plan to change character or class, but I would very much love to be able to use all my blademasters skills like I used to in the good old fun times.

With R9 as it is, the ultimate warfare/pvp/trials BM's can not use 14 of their sage/demon skills and they have to find expensive alternatives in recasting different types and grades of weapons. We don't need APS, imo, we just need some of the fun back and ability to play with full capacity with our toons.

You know you actually have a point it would be a huge money maker for PWI to allow bms to be able to get more than 1r9 wep since they have skills based on different weps it's only fair. Heck it costs what 500+ gold for r9 wep well lets see bms could get 2 even 3 weps well that's an extra 1k for for PWE.

There is actually a R9 version of every type of weapon in the game files. These weapons have no add ons, no class requisite or anything though, they are just basic weapons ready to be modified and put into game. Why they don't is beyond me. Wouldn't surprise me if they were oblivious to them lol

Uhh... good weapon substitutes are as following

Very Nice Pole-blade which can have purge.

Claws Suck for PVP anyways so this would be ok for PvE

CBA with a sword. (Does anyone even use it besides for Myriad Sword Stance anymore?)

Those are nice and expensive alternatives, but none of the alternatives would add 50 attack levels with the R9 set though, just saying.

Really anything less than R9 hits like **** nowadays, don't kid yourselves. I used to wield a +12 Jaden, and it was hitting like 1k on JOSD sharded R9s.

Well granted it doesn't give the op 50 attack levels. The axes would be the primary weapon.

The poleblade is purely to purge / farstrike
No comment on APS in PvP....
and again't CBA on swords.

Exactly...you'd hit 1k Farstrikes against the best-geared unless zerk crit. Really Pole path has always been a very valid PvP path for killing people. It doesn't and shouldn't have to be restricted to a utility role only. The only reason it's considered supportive is because of the purge, but really, axe path is more supportive than any other path.

I actually really expected PWI to release a R9 pole because that would make a lot of sense, but they've been lame.

well i am a veno... i almost never use any of my foxform melee skills because why would an arcane class get into meleerange do crappy physical damage to a target which probably is prepared to survive against sins...

Well sure that may be the case for best-geared players. However 80% of the population isn't even close to that and the farstrike would hit some nasty damage. Though I agree a R9 Pole would be sexy. Unrelated to all of this. BM's are technically a support class anyways not a DD class. b:chuckle

People already do one shot each other besides venoes unless they debuff defenses.

Since when was caster form veno doing better damage than fox form venoes to begin with? I don't even lose aggro to them no matter how many times they are using their wood attacks in PVE, and for sure fox form DPS out does the caster form's DPH since we are able to spark a lot more often than having a delayed time of casting. Heck, even claws did better DPS than venoes' DPH, you're not a wizard honestly.

I do believe they didnt add those weapons before because of problems on the game code.

Im going to guess here, so prove me wrong if you know more about this.

I mean, I think they had problems with the armor set

I think they couldnt make 2 equipments of the same kind fit into the same bonus.

Wich is why I think they didnt add the weapon to the set bonus on the new rank 9. so you could use other weapons without losing the set bonuses.
I expect new r9 weapons on the future.

This is a thread about R9 weps for bms, and anyone that is commenting on me personally in negative way can just bend over and shine my shoes.

After 4 years of PWI and many hundreds of TWs I don't even care anymore whos OP hahahahaahahahhaha If one is smart enough you can do much no matter whats your gear!


But I want all R9 weps because its unfair for BM's to not be able to use 14 of theirs Designed skills at max damage output just because Developers delivered new classes that use original blademasters weapons.

Adding a r9 pole with the adds from the r9 axes, who gets it can +12 and put 2 garnet gems on it and can one shot almost every non-HA with it on a lucky zerk crit from 20m away

r9 gof pole is just like a zerk / gof bow = Dead Game.

the other r9 weapons (if any) for bm wouldnt all have GoF..

I don't think on ~ gears full r9 bm vs and other r9 class would be overpowered, but, it would be more interesting to enjoy playing with bm's, against bms etc, because they could to many differnet things without just using few skills.

Lets be honest, bm's can use the least skills of all other classes by 2 or 3 times I forgot, and it is unfair, I don't understand how did developers deliver this without seriously considering will anyone make a bm again when ultimate weapon is only axe, they could at least *unlock* 1-2 of each sword/spear/fist skills for axe

To be fair, I never played Bm. But I do think they deserve getting other Rank 9 weapons.

The same way I think archers deserve to be able to get a r9 crossbow or slingshot (No diversity sucks, and sage archers would pwn with a r9 xbow)

Im just saying this for the sake of diversity, having everyone with the same build and same weapons sucks big balls.

Would be cool if clerics could get r9 sword wich helps then heal, unlike the stupid glaive for example.

Making more r9 weapons available would benefit everyone, not just Bms.

As to those classes who can only wear 1 weapon like sin and psychic:
Different weapons can be made. A r9 dagger with -int but no gof would sounds good to me for example.



Of course, this haves to be done thinking on balance, But I do believe it would be really healthy to server diversity if devs think a little and do that.
