Lack of Inventory Space

Lack of Cupboard Space.

Perfect World has supplied us with new content, new gears, new materials, but they have not given us the option to obtain more inventory space.

I know the design of this game isn't to create an alternate account just to have banking.

If that's how the game is designed then this is a huge flaw, so I do not want any player to tell me to create an alt just to bank gears/items.

Who all agrees that we should be given the option to expand our bank slots?

Who believes a mighty warrior should travel with the ability to loot anything he so desires?

Who believes as many materials as possible could be stuffed in the shelves of your cupboard?

They have this option already. And if you're seriously running out of room still you can make bank alts. I have maxed everything and I'm not even close to maxed space in anything but fashion. That is the only thing that could use an upgrade.

They do not have this option already. I have my inventory, bank, and cupboard maxed.

This game was not designed to create alts to store more items. I'm glad you enjoy logging on your alts every time you need something that couldn't be stored on your main though.

The thing is if you read what I said. I don't need an alt. I have plenty of room on my main.

I can't fathom what you could be farming that you need that much space for short of stashing DQ Items for another x2 DQ event.

Faction base trials.
TT 3-3, this instance usually takes up at least 12 slots, more if I pick up DQ/Materials.
Apothecary
Every Herb, stored for making apoth.
Big notes/Tokens/Products from Tokens.

Crafting Supplies, there's many at least 4 different stages of mats and at least 4 mats per stage, that is 20 spots alone.

Nirvana: Shards, Uncannys, Raptures.

Are you still having trouble imaging what's in my bank/inventory/cupboard?

OHT Materials and manufacturing OHT gear to decompose into chi.

What happens when I have the ability of switching out armors too, I can switch form HA ornaments to my Physical ornaments, that's just 2 more spots in my inventory.

Hell, Even the Account Stash lacks space, depending on how many items/gear you are wanting to transfer. I want this game to be more serviceable.

Forcing players to create alts is not very serviceable at all.

It's more serviceable to add more space or the option to buy more space. Especially for Account Stash Stone.

Still having trouble. Some of the items you're storing on I can't see why you're keeping them. What is the purpose of hoarding everything even the useless ****.

I use all of it eventually or sell it. I don't put everything in Auctioneer right after I finish an instance. I can't play the game as much if I'm so busy visiting the Auctioneer to just clean out inventory space. I know many players will agree with me here.

Seriously the amount of expansions you can get from what the basic is is quite a bit more than any other game out. AND you can make alts on the same account or another account and have even more space.

I have an alt for herbs and apoth, and an alt for farmed mats, and an alt for stones and TT mats.

Of course, I have 1) a computer that can run more than one client at a time and 2) I'm not here ranting about an issue that has been around since the game started, and *everyone* else playing the game has managed to find a solution to.

Definitely need more space. I have maxed out bank and inventories and I get tired of switching through my account stash from alts to store this stuff.

again, no matter how many ppl vote in favor for this, everyone knows PWI would never add it.

Not only cuz they are lazy, but also cuz they probally lack the knowledge to do that by theirselves, all you guys can do is pray for china to add that.

while that on private servers it costs you 10 bucks to get 128 inventory slots...

@Redmenace stop being an a-hole, the guy haves a point. Hes telling PWI "hey, you will earn money if you let us buy more of those itens!" He is giving his point and I totally agree with him, having to change between accounts all the time is no way to play a game.

Many ppl have an alt just for DQ itens, just for rep badges and so on, couldnt PWI make they stack with 1k instead of 100 units? idk about you, but on my barb I have to switch gears everytime depending on what im fighting, so I have 3 tomes to switch, 2 wrists, 2 boots, 3 necks, 3 belts, 4 rings, 2 capes, 1 fist, 1 r9 axe, 1 r8 recast hammer with def levels, 1 r8 recast hammer with spirit blackhole. Not to count I always have at least 10 different pots + crab and herb. I also have 9 different packs at all times on my inventory so I open then with 1-9 hotkeys.

There, I got no room for anything.

I would rather have 20 characters per account demon/sage for each class. That would add some more bank/inventory space and let you accomplish the achievements for each class without out having to delete any toons just so you can get all 10 classes. This would also mean more cash spent on gearing those toons. No brainer if you ask me.

I still can't understand all of the nincompoops telling me to create an alt, just because the game isn't serviceable enough. I'm not asking for a solution, I'm asking for an improvement. I can't comprehend how other players are happy to have to switch over to alts, just to collect items, or to keep up alt catshops open all day, just to sell farmed belongings while they are playing on their main.

My vision of having more inventory is still more serviceable to the player base and I will not, I refuse to comment on how this will profit Perfect World financially, because I want something for the players.

I always see this happening, whenever someone gives an idea to make gameplay better in a way absolutely NOONE gets hurts and the game just gets better someone comes and say:

I saw this happen to a poor veno girl who asked to have more than 10 pet slots and ppl bashed her. I mean, whats ur guys problem? Will it HURT YOU if she can have like 4 extra mounts and pretty pets to play with?

Turns out that I have cube items.

And No I am not a rat who stores items obsessively.

I am a player who 'uses items daily' or even stores items of 'importance' to resell later, when I am not 'farming'.


I'm not going around collecting rare items that have no actual use.

The solution is don't packrat everything. There's plenty of room for everything. Granted the pet bag slots for venos and fashion slots for everyone could be increased. But everything else is overkill.

That's not the case in most of these instances, what happens is that we have people like you that can't do a simple search on this kind of topic, which has been discussed many times already, and just like the rest of them, they'll most likely never happen.

Mats are made to craft stuff not to collect for ever in your bank.
You are lvl 105 dude, what you still doing with low herbs and mats for craft skills?
Craft stuff and sell stuff.
All the people lvl 100+ that using apo pots just keep the herbs for the pots they want, they don't keep salvia, nectar, golden etc all the 45 herbs.
Im probably sure you still have lime stone in your bank and the blood from all your FB.
Seriously sell some stuff and craft you will have #1 more space and #2 more money.

During the last charm sales , I had to move over 100 charms through alts, this wasn't a very fun thing to do. There's so many items merchanted and used daily.

Read my previous post, I already said PWI would never add that and I do know it have been discussed tons of times (playing since 2009 and forums active since then, not on this char tough )

What Im trying to say is: respect other people's opinions and needs. Doesnt matter if it have been discussed 10000 times, if someone wants to say "I want this/I need this" Who are you to say "NO YOU DONT NEED IT, I DO FINE WITHOUT IT SO GTFO"

For example, if I start a thread asking PWI to make it 20 chars per account people WILL surely reply with:
"MAKE MORE ACCOUNTS, I DONT NEED TO HAVE ALL CHARS ON SAME ACCOUNT SO U DONT NEED EITHER, GTFO HUR DUR"


If someone else's needs WONT hurt you in any way why you have to tell then they are wrong for wanting it? Like I said before, NOONE would get hurt, so stop bashing the guy for wanting more slots on his inventory and account stash. hes trying to make HIS life and YOUR life easier.

I do not personally have an issue with space. I don't see the need to collect every mat under the sun that I would never use and or has no profit value.
