Download/Installation Issues

When I downloaded the game off of the site, after several hours for the full download, I got an error and lost all my progress. I tried searching to see where perfect world may have been installed, but it is as if it vanished without a trace. I tried the torrent and used winrar to open the torrent, since it wouldn't auto run, once again I received an error. This time I was told that the torrent was either an unknown format or damaged. I also tried 7-zip but received the message that the torrent was archived.
When I began to reinstall the game directly from the website, a popup came up containing this statement
"This program might not have installed correctly, try reinstalling it using settings that are compatible with this version of windows"
At which point I have two options to choose from, either this program installed correctly or to reinstall the program using recommended settings. When i choose recoomended settings, it acts as if it will run a full reinstall but instead it just opens a notepad (as described below). When I select that it has installed correctly, same thing happens.
A notepad opens up with either option selected containing this:
[autorun]
open=Install.exe
icon=icon.ico
P.S. I am using windows 7
I did search again after the notepad pop ups to find where perfect world file was installed into, but nothing shows up. I did find a Pando Networks folder but within it is a Media booster file within that is a bunch of stuff that I am unsure what it does.

User/Downloads/PWI_Decent_Installer or something like that. go to that directory and run install.exe.
Next time search the forums. this has been answered only like 200 times already.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
