I wasted 30 mins of my life figuring this out >.>
When you want to type of an amount to bid on an item, the amount cannot be double the current bid on item. What kind of stupidity is this...b:cry

    Could be several reasons, such as having a low price with no buy price at all.

    I suppose. I generally would just wait until there was about 10mins left and then bid before the timer reset back to 30mins or w/e the timer is now if I wanted to buy it in that case. Now if I REALLY wanted it I would sometimes try to contact the owner of bid # XXXXXXX and work a deal with them instead. But that's me

    Sometimes I have wanted to, because I was in a bid war with someone else but had to log off, and wanted to just bid the highest I would have paid for that item before leaving. Unfortunately with items priced ridiculously low that doesn't work.

    Ah, that makes sense. And that is a shame then that there isn't a way around it other then asking them to pull it off the bid and selling it to you directly at that point.

    Maybe if they implemented who the seller was on the AH as to go with the bid number it would make it so much easier to contact them about something you wanted ijs.

    Don't forget that once a certain amount of time is left on an item, the seller can no longer cancel the sale and it has to go through whatever bid war it may be in.

    Yea first time that i put my stuff in AH i didnt know really how it work and lost my item at really low price. b:surrender

    I've got stuff cheap with that too, just a few week ago i got the frosty set (female top-skirt-gloove-boots) pure red for less than 4m cause each piece was around 600k and no buy price just bid, i've got the same too last week, 2 male pieces of fash (top and bottom) pure red 500k each, i think sometime people forget they put stuff in sale or like my first time they don't know how it work.

    oh, there is a solution to since since you can overbid yourself. If you want to get to a certain amount, just keep bidding. I was just annoyed that I kept putting in a number and the AH says it accepted it, but it wouldn't take the money >.>
