What's wrong with me?

Hello all
Im wondering, why I can't tank full exp room mobs?

Self buffed only:10% survival chance
With Cleric buffs:50%
Cleric+BM Buffs:75%
&Barb:100%

How come lots of lv.80's Seekers can do full exp room alone?,do they use some apothecary pots?,in other words,what's wrong with me?

Im a Seeker but I have no clue what Im seeking.

    Get a sin to bloodpaint you, it will help you a lot doing the job in fc :)

    ^ that, also HP charm or crabs would help too, can't expect cleric to heal you while you do the pull cuz they will steal aggro :P so u need some good apoth. Seeker defense buff is a good idea too. Also I would consider getting a better helmet and refining it to +4 at least, remember your helmet is the piece of gear that gives you the biggest amount of hp if you refine it :)

    hp-pdef wise you are fine.

    replace those rings to boost your attack = more heals from bp
    make sure you have maxed the def lvl buff
    i use the apo that boosts pdef when i solo with bp (you can also use the faction base pill that boosts your pdef dramatically)
    to setup vortex when you pull, holy path to the last group of mobs
    you only purge once #yopo

    Yep I forgot to mention BP,the above rates are all with BP buff.

    I have no troubles pulling mobs and keeping my Hp up with pots,Its when they all get on me & I get cursed when things gets bad.

    I couldn't find the Def buff on PW calc,with other buffs + blessing I get 50 def levels,and yet mobs hit me between 100 and 200 damage each hit.

    Oh and the problem its to survive without cleric(soling),I can get Cleric's buff,but no BB for me there.

    What's the faction base item to boost defense?

    i use o'malleys btw but depends... not sure if it's best xd

    uum it's something like uneven training i think, it's in the apothecary section.
    you can also kill the captains that curse you, this will make the pull way safer (And it's just 4 mobs so the exp wont be reduced a lot)
    you only purge once #yopo

    the only thing you need is bp+your own buff+expel. What you do is next:
    -pull full room of mobs
    -blade affinity
    -vortex
    -expel yourself

    then you should survive this easily but do these steps quickly after eachother ;)

    - have someone get rid of the captains.... altho i personally never had a problem with them >.> never knew those mobs even caused problems.

    - Use Dew of Star Protection. Honestly i think most pple forget about the basic meds that use to help us back in the days. My seekers lv102 but since lv75, this dew as been my most used apoth over IGs or sutra's. We got the defense levels to survive long, abuse it even more b:laugh

    As stated, upgrade your rings and then refine them for the pdef. Those mobs only hit physical damage, so a little more physical damage reduction will go a long way. R5 ring is cute but pretty useless defensively.
    Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory

    Lure out the captains before you start, to prevent you from getting cursed (inc dmg taken)

    Get a genie with expel, expel yourself once vortext is up (or even as soon as you start channeling it).
    Imume to phys dmg for like 6 seconds, which should be more than enough to kill all the mobs. It's how my wizzy tanks the big room (or used to, no use in doing big rooms on him anymore)

    im starting to wonder if its the gears nowadays that are making it harder for the current seekers (lack of) ;S ??

    cause when i leveled seeker, this was back when EG expansion came out, and most all of us were properly geared. And barely no one even noticed the captains when they successfully pulled the room. Its only recent that i start hearing about 'kill captains first' or something among the new seekers.
