i hate questing and was wondering how far i can powerlevel without ending up at a point where gearing up my wiz decently would cost over 10mill+...which of the lower lvl range is it safe to skip? should i stop at 61 or around 70-80?

My gear now cost more than 10 millions coins when my Wizard is level 75 (one robe cost now ~10 millions coins).

But it is dependent from player.

I saw Wizards level 79 with cost of gear less than 2 millions.

And 10 millions coins is small amount in comparison with total cost of Wizards skills.

Just for essential skills leveled to 10 level you need 30 700 570 coins.

I not include skills like Undine strike, which you buy through non-Wizard trainer character.

My gear at the moment looks like this: http://pwcalc.com/fedc14213dca68c5

Not sure how much it is actually worth...200mil+ I think though.

Just btw, the genie has 2x +5 dex genie gear(incase anyone notices how there are -6 points on it) which aren't in the pwcalc.

You can stop at around 80 and get a nice TT 80 magic sword, some nice legendary armor and ornaments.

My 80s gear looked like this : http://pwcalc.com/77305e042facf716

let's be honest, that build for 80-100 PvE is overkill. Full TT80 gold/3* with decent add-ons will suffice and you don't need WoCC with cube/warsong in the 80s. There are a lot of 100+ players who do not have those ornaments and still cope with PvE just fine.

If you want to powerlevel without upgrading gear anything up to level 80 should be okay as a gear upgrade at around level 80 would cost around 10m depending on the gear you want. Powerleveling from 80 onwards is also fine as long as you have decent 80s gear. TT80 gold or 3* with decent adds with last to 99 and 100.

Yeah I know it's overkill, but if I have the gear from my main anyway...so why not use it?

And about 3 of my characters can use that 80s gear so I'm keeping it for them, the 90s gear will probably be banked and kept and the ornaments and cape? Well they come from my main so they are definitely staying.

If you want powerlevel, then you pay for it and not need gear (you can "powerlevel" even without any gear).

If you want to play, then you need gear.

Gear for high levels cost more than gear for low and middle levels.

FC is considered power leveling in my opinion regardless if you run it or pay for heads/XP room.

And the second part is not strictly true, lower level -int/chan pieces costs a lot more than higher level ones (OHT random drops).

I had low level sleeves with -int, I yet have level 28 ring with -3 channeling (at bank of one of my characters) and I don't think that it cost more than same items for high level.

Fiend's ring level 50 something mold -3% ring costs 1m+, -6% OHT rings (lvl 92+) barely costs 700k.

-int random drop/crafted <80 wrists costs 800k+, OHT -int wrists costs 150k+.

It is cost of the mold and materials for craft.

Sleeves of Sea captain cost less than it.

But good weapon for high level more than all above.

    Edit:
No wonder, that Assassins without APS and barehanded will be able to outdamage Wizard without gear.
Or that he will be killed in Delta wave 0 by the wind from running mobs.

Exactly, the mold costs more so the end product costs more. Lower level -int/chan equipment often costs more than lower level ones.

    SoSC has no -int.

Midnight black... and all your other 9x mold weapons are worthless nowadays and are cheaper than even TT70 weapons.

    They have -6 channeling.

    And Wizard need it.
Again, it is **** equipment for high levels.

I sold to NPC **** low level molds myself.
Can you post pwcalc build for Wizard, which cost less than 10 millions and is enough for high level instances ?
Like Nirvana, Cube of Fate, Delta ?

    Because can't even imagine it:
just gems and refinements will cost more.

    ***

    Conclusion: powerleveler not need gear.
Player need good gear according his level to play this game.

Best, cheap levels at this game are low and middle.

LOL ROFL ROFLMFAO but I will answer your question...
To be able to run Nirvana (and we are talking about caster nirvana) you will need rank 8 , that means with current gold price at least 100 mill ... should I continue?
Wizzards are the most expensive class of this game, you will need to rely a lot on your gear and on high refines to stay alive in any high lvl instances.
If you are already thinking on not spend too much on your wizard I must say that you had choose the wrong class..

I am not OP of this thread.

This is not my first Wizard and I will not play at high levels.

Sorry, I not see anything interesting in it.

Are you BR? I said 10m in gear is enough to level to 99 or 100, not 10m in gears is enough to solo harpy wraith and compete with R9 +12 in PvP.

the armor alone did cost a fortune
and refining full +10 is a must at any lvl to be on par with people
and ofc you always need the best possible shards in your armor

You make money by questing and grinding, and not wasting it on powerleveling. b:pleased
Alternatively, you can learn to merchant, buying things low and selling things high.

    Or you cash shop.

7x molds are cheap and will last you until 90. TT90 green pants are cheap for their quality and should only be replaced by nirvana/r9 pants. The other TT90 parts are decent and imexpensive as well but are outclassed by rank/tt99 gear.

There's really nothing wrong with power lvling as long as you keep up with your gear and learn the instances and what you should be doing in many situations.

At least at 80+ there are others to play with. :/

BH69 is worse from all previous.

This is first bh where you start to pay wine fee (30k-40k per one run) for pleasure to be dd or be killed if tank fail.
