Not sure if using genie skills to pk someone is something to brag about?
On a side note, I'd be more impressed if the person saying this wasn't a sin, 5aps AND wasn't r8.

    not sure if the gap between wooden sword and r8 is greater that the gap between r8 and r9 b:avoid

    Regardless of how supbar r8 is to r9, any sin with a 1/4th of a brain with r8 can just faceroll a victory against another class. b:sad

    Well I'm not sure what the circumstances were, but for all we know, he might of been full josd+12 and then you could brag, but he might of been just r9 no good refines or gems yet. I just find it funny that a sin is "bragging" about it, since sin is such an easy class to pvp with, especially with 5aps, trip spark, stealth and her genie skills she used.

    Well I'm not sure exactly how this girl plays her sin, but if she's like 99% of all sins, she probably stealthed/tele stunned him, trip spark, etc etc etc. Poor barb wouldn't stand a chance if the girl knows how to stunlock or if she killed in during the timelimit on a stun.
    But anyway, I would grats her if she won a legit fight against a barb, but concerning she was bragging about just having to use tangling mire and frenzy, she probably falls in the 99%.

    Most likely an R9 Barb with little to no refines. There is a youtube video making the rounds of a 40K HP R9 +12 full JoSD Barb on my server face tanking a triple sparked R9 Sin like it was nothing. It would be nearly impossible for such a Barb to lose to your R8 Sin.

    That's what I assumed when I saw it and posted the thread without even mentioning it, because even if the sin was equally as geared and didn't cowards fight, there would be no way the barb would of dropped.

    Speaking from personal experience... more sins died to bramble then am actually killed by their attackee.

    Recast r8 boots or legs that give .05 interval x2 and you're set.

    for some reason i find it hard to believe that a sin has a -int r8 recast piece and not r9 daggers b:avoid on the other hand, it's luck :b

    Might of been nirvana dags, I only looked quickly. The rest of her armor was def r8 tho so I just assumed. Also, it's not impossible to be 5aps with r8.

    It's pretty well a settled thing that a rank 9 +12 all josd/vit stone barb is superior to the same level gear rank 9 sin. If the barb doesn't win its because he sucks.

    yall trying to talk smart and **** when a r9 psy beats all soul of stunning lasting over 10 seconds is just not fair and as gear progresses that skill will get more and more broken

    many barbs think they are good.. til they try to tank a 4-5aps gof +12 sin demon sparked

    it just depends on how lucky the sin is with occult or the amount of times gof procs

    not many barbs try to kill sins while in tiger form.. i mean they probably can.. but many prefer to be in human form

    This is so true. It's easy on paper saying how a r9+12 josd barb can tank a sin like nothing, but there's SO many factors we didn't know about from this screenshot alone. For all I know, she MIGHT of taken down a barb like that IN tiger form but she might not of. Going against a sin is basically luck and timing, and maybe that guy didn't have either of them. And yes, I hardly see any barbs going in tiger form to fight sins. It'd be smarter tho :o


    Also, I saw a post about psys. Yes I know psys are OP. The whole fish family is b:laugh

    Having R8 means you don't get 5 aps. You're capped at 4.0 unless you have recast R8 with a total of -0.15 interval.
    Might of been nirvana dags, I only looked quickly. The rest of her armor was def r8 tho so I just assumed. Also, it's not impossible to be 5aps with r8.

    The gear you need for 5 aps with R8 is ridiculous, as you need 3 pieces of recast R8 with a total of -0.15 interval, plus you need every other standard piece of -interval. Oh and btw, just the single piece with 2x -0.05 interval costs more than a full set of R9. So anyone who would have that pretty much has to have something better than regular R8.

    Like I said, I was in a hurry the time I took the SS so I only looked really quick at her gear and decided to post about it later, but anyway, the more I'm remembering about it, I believe she had the normal 5aps sin set up, r8 top, nirv dags, nirv leggings, tt99 bracers and boots, lionheart neck and belt, etc. r8 was all I could remember at the time so I just put r8, easier than saying all that I suppose. Figured people would assume that's what I meant by 5aps but I guess not (Is HL like the only server that has every sin geared as that?)
