    ^^this, I'm a r9 myself, when I triple sparked a boss and zerked like a roaring tiger, I got immediate aggro b:pleased . In general, 5.0 today isn't as OP as it was practically a few years back.

    Meeh... 5 aps +0 deicide on archer deals lame dmg compared to sins and bms, but still 2 to 3 times higher than it would be with bow. Period.

    Archers are dds. Why u hate that they are trying to do as highest dmg as possible in PvE?

    5aps does do a lot of damage compared to other things, but it's overrated.

    I think the final proof of 5 aps being overrated is in cheze soloing Harpy Wraith with 3.33 aps. That's not only not enough for permaspark, but also he deliberately chose to go from 4.0 R9 to 3.33 R9 to get the defensive boost of using R9 belt and cube necklace.

    never said it was impossible of course its possible. its just like a bajillion times harder. a g13 nirvy cleric is not gona steal aggro from a g13 nirvy sin. they out-DD everyone of the same type of gearing, and its fact, not opinion.
    the loser fail nab cleric from dreamweaver who quit pwi, but still wanders the forums.

    Yes, aggro can be held without APS like my axe when I put on interval gear (account stashed alts for the win?) but usually, it's about even depending on gear/placed stats/refines/shards/buffs etc (sage vs demon masterys even) but if you came across someone 100% even, you have to ask...is it worth it? As a BM, I miss one thing about APS when I had it...The chi. For my axe with interval (lol, right?) I can get in aggro fights with a completely equally geared, aggro just shifts...

    But here's the thing. As a BM, I need my chi to HF, and to keep spark up I need to burn apoth and genie just to do it...It's definitely not worth burning it when with APS a BM can use those same things to constant Spark HF over and over and even with chi genie and pots, i run out of my ability to spark, it's not permanent. Then once I lose aggro, I can't get it back.

    If you were stealing from a BM, he must not have been using his HF after spark then, which makes him either a dolt or low on chi pots/genie energy. If it was a sin, they must not have been using Powerdash and Wolf Emblem...In other words, it's possible if you're with someone who isn't trying

    Asn an axe BM who has had APS, I know APS is quite OP, it's just that axe is used for other things. When I want to do FC alone or something, I log my nabby sage sin for bosses, but my BM does the pulls and drops the mobs pretty fast because of his high str. I really do miss the ability to chi and stay sparked, my god were bosses faster and much easier.

    5 aps is OP when teamed with buffs and debuffs...but nonaps is for different things, not quite as OP since the non-aps has been around longer...Axe BMs are a laugh in Nirvana, you need chi for that.

    I'll put it this way. If everyone is doing it, the reason it's everyone is because it works. Don't fix it if it isn't broken.
