Can someone give me some tips to soloing this boss?
Between the purge/sleep/bishops... I still die too often. I think there is something I am missing. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Use tidal protection, rib strike and spark away.
    Either that or your gear isn't up for the task yet.

    sparking when a bishop spawns will (with good timing) resist the purge too
    you only purge once #yopo

    having imunity pots helps if you get purged. as with other suggestions above

    Use tidal protection to avoid sleeps as much as possible.

    Keep an eye on normal chat, he sais something like "let it all fade away" to announce the purge. Use AD or spark to resist the purge (or hope tidal makes the purge fail).

    If you kill to slow, kill bishops as soon as they spawn.

    Tidal protection after the first spark if your fight takes longer than a minute.

    You have to be quick with the spark though. The best way to time it is to spark as soon as you see a bishop spawn, because he will sleep you before a purge. Sparking when you see a bishop will resist the sleep and the purge.

    Though Rib Strike will help your survivability by a bit, it will throw off the timings of the boss when a bishop spawns.

    and I think that's why i kept gettin purged even if i sparked immediately after bisho spawn, ty :3

    Yup, that's how I knew that Rib Strike throws off his timings. I've been slept at the wrong interval before (about a second earlier than usual when a bishop spawns), and I've been purged even after I sparked at the normal time you should when a bishop spawns. It's even worse with demon rib.

    You're welcome! It's kind of funny how he's one of the few bosses where Rib Strike isn't as effective.

    I mean, it's still possible to time your sparks and all to resist the sleep and purge, even with level 10/demon rib strike, but you'll have to have a lot of experience in doing that, because you won't have the easy-to-spot cue of a bishop spawning to spark.

    Gear has nothing to do with it... 90+ CAN solo him, albeit extremely difficult, it's more about timing your sparks and TP than gear.
