Question regarding the new skills

So lately I've been pretty lazy with PWI, I've been more focused on making a farming character for Nirvana to try and farm R9 parts for my Mystic. I haven't even got 1 of the new Morai skills yet (apart from Transfusion) because I get distracted with the alt and end up QQ'ing to myself and not liking such alt but whatever I'm rambling QQ.


The new skills - Mass Resurrection, Invigorate and Verdant Blessing. Do you think they would help a Mystic get into normal Nirvana runs? Personally I think they all sound pretty useful in Nirvana, maybe not Invigorate so much, but yeah useful!

Also generally wouldn't a Mystic be more useful in Nirvana over a cleric? How many of you actually get into normal runs anyway? I just want to open up my Mystic farming without having to spend a lot of coin on alts all the time and would like your views on farming coin as a Mystic really. I love my Mystic too much to not use it

Don't think it really matters if you get a cleric or mystic in normal nirvana. But people keep prefering a cleric over mystic because of buffs and res.

Mystics tend to be better healers though. A sin once called me a better healer then clerics. But maybe the clerics he experienced were trash.

As for invigorate, in a normal nirvy it's not too useful. Because it enhances your skill damage, which means it won't effect aps users.

Have you been on many normal runs? Its probably easier for you to get invites really since you are pro and have a decent faction :P The factionless like me have it harder.

I have seen a few WC's asking for Seekers in normal runs now also so maybe Invigorate would be best used with a Seeker in squad.

I always get called a better healer than Clerics, have done since the 85+ FF runs but never experienced Nirvana healing as a Mystic but I have on my Cleric. I would think it is so much easier on Mystic with Vital and then I can DD also = win win in my eyes.

Also, does Verdant Blessing make BP recover more? If so then I think it would be stupid not to take a Mystic to Nirvana O_O

I simply just hate normal nirvana on mystic. lol Any char, but on mystic I just feel useless.

And I guess technically it doesn't matter too much if you take a cleric or mystic. However, clerics got the good buffs. And tbh, I see way more decent clerics than mystics. b:surrender

Healing buff doesn't affect bp heals though. It only works for pots or healing skills. BP is more of a buff, not an active healing spell.

I never see any WCs requesting for a healer for normal vana and none of the squads i've been in have had a healer either. I kinda lol'd ehen I saw someone on my serverWCing fora seeker with sage heartshatter though xD

Anyway, I'd say your cheapest option for a farming alt would be veno. All you would really need to invest in would be decent hp, a high dps pet, and lvl 11 amp. Veno is nice in vana because of amp, armor break, and purge for the annoying bosses that buff their defenses.

Hp would be easy due to freedom to go vit build and being able to use your current nonrank gear, for a dps pet just lvl the scorpion you can get at the beginning or get the new morai dino, and heck lvl11 amp isn't that necessary, it's very unlikely they'll notice a difference. xD

Also applies for caster nirvana. An aoe rez buff and a skill damage buff? b:dirty
