Healing the Crystal in TW o.0

ok so im really curious of the mystic skills can heal the crystal? cuz most of my faction mates tell me that it heals/regenerate the crystal faster. but i told them it doesnt lol

these 2 skills

Vital Herb Level 1
Mana 479.2
Channel 1.0 seconds
Cast 1.0 seconds
Cooldown 35.0 seconds
Weapon Unarmed, Magic instrument

Requisite Cultivation Aware of Coalescence
Summons a Vital Herb, which restores HP to
nearby friends every second and increases their
HP recovery by 5 points per second.
Vital Herb appears for 20 seconds.
Lysing has no effect on Vital Herb.
Costs 1 Spark.


Healing Herb Level 1
Mana 228.8
Channel 1.0 seconds
Cast 1.0 seconds
Cooldown 6.0 seconds
Weapon Unarmed, Magic instrument

Required Cultivation Aware of Discord
Summons a Healing Herb that restores 35 points
of Health every 2 Seconds for all nearby friends.
Healing Herb appears for 1 minute.
Healing Herb has a certain chance of evasion.

Healing Herb may not be Lysed.


it says all nearby friends. but does that include the crystal o.0

    no, the mystics healing plants do not help raise the HQ crystals hp faster. as for the 2 plants abilities, it only works on squad members or just u, thats it

    If I make the Healing Herb skill near the crystal and a Cata from the other TW Fraction come near the Crystal, the Cata kill my Healing Herb. And the Healing Herb get only Aggro from the Cata if the Healing Herb is near the Crystal. Away from the Crystal the Healing Herb get not killed by the Cata.

    I see only one reason why the Healing Herb get Agro from the Cata near the Crystal: The Healing Herb heal the Crystal.

    If anybody have a better idea why the healing herb get Agro from Catas if the herb is near the crystal, please let me know. b:laugh

    make sense. but the crystal doesnt have a buff on it saying 'regen increased' or something like that. but when i squad a mystic and it heals me. theres a buff on me

    I tested it until now only at the white healing herb. There is no Buff Symbol at players.

    You don't get any buff icon from a healing herb.

    Also, it's impossible to 'heal' anything that's NPC of some sort. Plus that your herbs only affect the people in your squad. So unless you manage to squad the crystal...

    probably cause both herbs and the crystal belong in the same category of objects in the game: not moving npc-ish objects and the cata is programmed to attack them.

    in any case, why dont you just check the crystal's hp? preferably when a veno has stopped his recovery (but if you cannot say if the crystal is autorecovering or being healed then the heal from the herbs is useless anyway)

    Actually there is a glitch that can allow a cleric to heal a mob. I discovered it while doing the grind quests out around DWP with certain skill order and a genie skill at the right moment IH would get transfered to the mob and boom its at full hp (or rising hp depending on how much it was hurt) wish I still had screen shots. And no it was not forcing the mob to reset and thus returning it to full hp 1-no yellow glow 2-mobs would never stop attacking. Maybe I'll see if I can recreate it, my old faction mates at the time thought it was a neat trick, though I found it annoying since I was after all trying to kill the things.

    I just know there is a glitch that will transfer the animation of IH to mob. It doesn't actually heal though.

    maybe they partially fixed it then, it used to actually heal, as I said it's been awhile since I've even seen it, learned to avoid that skill order b:chuckle When I first encountered it and believe me it really did actually heal them, was before the Tideborn expansion when I was still playing on lost when I first found it made a video of it once, but that was lost when my old laptop fried b:surrender I'll try it again see if it still heals or not, but you're probably right it doesn't anymore.

    At least you can't QPQ HP debuffs to it anymore... :D

    lol this reminded me of dumb clerics in the past who tried to stay near crystal in the base n tried to heal it using squad heal. what's next? 'mage heal work on crystal i swear' trololololo

    What you didnt know?! Sage Morning Dew can fully heal the crystal if it crit heals!!!!

    I was wondering if any mystics had tried using the Salvation Pet's defense buff skills on the crystal before. They had been proven to work on Cold Mist (npc in trial 4) - the npc that u are trying protect. I haven't seen this done in any of the TWs on my server.

    the defense buf is working i think. the color green one. i saw it buffed on crystal in one of my tws

    The thing is, even if the salvation pet increased crystal defenses, would it even matter? I thought catas did set damage to crystal, not affected by defenses. Otherwise venos could use demon ironwood scarab and I could hit full damage to crystal, which clearly isn't the case.... right? Right? o.o; I actually have no idea, but surely somebody would have noticed. Assuming I'm right, then yeah, catas do set dmg, within a range; so debuffs nor buffs affect dmg done.

    The Salvation have an absorb Damage Skill too.

    I do not know if it work. I never tried it until now.

    I noticed only that the healing herb must heal the Crystal as we had an fight at our base. I made the healing herb to heal the squad members and my herb got aggro from the Cata and always killed from the Cata b:cry

    On a serious note. That's a glitch. The plants are target-able, the cannons are ADD (not literally, but have you seen a cata-barb their first time pulling, the towers get attacked if it's not done right) So when the plant is there it gives a second target, and by being an "active" target as opposed to an "inactive" it takes priority.

    I tested it at the last TW

    If the white Herb is out of the range from towers or the crystal, the Herb do not get Aggro from the Catapult and the herb keep alaive.

    If the white Herb is in the range from towers or the crystal, the Herb get aggro from the Catapult and killed from the Catapult.

    This seems that the herb heal the crystal.

    But I took a look to the HP from the Crystal and Towers too. I did not took the exact time and healing amount.

    But I took a look to the last 2 digits of the HP from the Towers. the healing changed every second from 33 to 66 and 00 (the last two digits from the HP). The last two digits was the same, with heal herb in the range and without healherb in the range. So I think the herb do not heal the tower or crystal.

    Still curios is why the heal herb get Catapult agro in the range of the tower and crystal but do not get Catapuot aggro out of the Crystal and Tower range.
