Seeker Vortex Help Please

Hey guys so i just recently just turn 59 im 60 now and i need help with vortex skill. So i've been on many bh runs with seekers nd they vortex the boss.. Their vortex stays up untill they kill the boss or whenever the mobs die or w.e.. The point is their vortex stays for quite a while. But when i try to vortex a boss i only could do it for like a few seconds then it stops.. I even used MP pots and everything it doesnt stay on PLEASEE HELP

At that level you pretty much need a mana charm and a big enough mana pool that it doesn't drain before the charm ticks again. At 75 you can use mana herbs which are sufficient to keep it running if you pot every cooldown.

There are a couple of things that are going on:

1. Your mana is depleted. Each vortex tick will take a large chunk out of your mana pool and depending on how much mp you have, the level of vortex, what mana pots you're using, and buffs you have, vortex can still drop because you'll get to a point where you don't have enough mp. If this is the problem, you can get better mp pots, use an mp charm (in addition to pots), or swap gears to give you extra mp (usually swapping to an arcane hat).

2. You get interrupted. Check your chatbox to see if this happens. Some bosses, like Rankar, have AOEs or other attacks that will make vortex drop. There are a couple of genie skills like Absolute Domain that you can use to get around this.


Although I do have to advise you to consider why you are using vortex on a boss in the first place. In some instances it may be appropriate, but depending on the circumstances, you'll be doing your squad a much better service by using your debuffs.

This is normal. There is a reason why lvl 75 herb yanxio is called seeker crack. Start saving up your tokens now.

First off don't level your vortex any higher until you can keep it going which isn't going to be soon. Secondly even if you get a mana charm you will still need pots to keep it going at your level, but it does help. At your level a charm and pots let me keep it going at least long enough to keep aggro on bosses which is all that matters.
