Is anyone else experiencing more lag on the Harshlands server since the maintenance? Pardon the speelling, but the question is still valid.
Ever since the maintenance I've experienced more lag than ever, even in places, like Tusk Town, where I never experienced it prior to said maintenance.
Seriouly just spend 75.00 more dollars on a game which I really would like to enjoy - PWGM's please fix this.
By the way you guys cannot blame Comcast Cable, my internet connection runs between 26 to 30 Mbps..that's a great connection with perfect ping and all

Well it's hard to say sometimes what the cause of lag is, but I have noticed a trend over the last year. First let me just say I have uber fast internet, and I admit sometimes I lag or dcd and it's my fault (too many movies downloading at once b:chuckle ) however when I am not doing anything else on my pc other than playing (even with an alt on) I can be in west arch with both toons browsing catshops and not lag at all (with full settings) I can even have a catshop set up and it never lag (when ever I check it at least) However if I take a toon somewhere unpopulated, such as Tusk Town like the OP said or some other place rarely visited anymore I lag.

What makes me sure such a problem isn't my pc is 2 things, 1- I can switch over to my alt that is probably in arch and have no lag at all and 2- I can telestone somewhere heavily populated and the lag goes away.

So best guess to me is that in someway bandwidth or server memory for world map areas rarely visited anymore is being cut. After all I don't lag in delta, FC, nirvana or most other places, but I go somewhere alone and I start to lag. Made it real difficult to do lvl 70-90 mob quests on my psy when he kept lagging so bad I had no idea what was happening. Maybe I should just log a lot of accounts and move all my toons together in a party for quests on the world map and I won't lag b:chuckle

Want to solve alot of my problems? On your computer Click - Start - now click - Run - now type - cmd - now type - format c: - If you are using Windows Vista or 7 please be sure you run as administrator.

I'm just posting this for the hell of it. No one ever listens or provides the info anyway....
Common reasons that you can't connect to the servers, experience disconnects, or just have lag in general...

    1. You don't have the three .exe files for the client set to run as administrator.
    2. You don't have the game directory set as an exception in your security softwares.
    3. Your network adapter driver is out of date and needs to be refreshed.
    4. Your local area network settings are improperly configured.
    5. You have more than one firewall and don't realize it.
    6. Your firewall settings are too strict. (Very common with ZoneAlarm and Commodo firewall.)
    7. Your router is configured improperly.
    8. you have a bad network cable.
    9. You're using a wireless network connection. (Which leads to another huge list.)
    10. You have a lot of traffic on your local network that is bogging your router/modem down.
    11. There's a fault in your router.
    12. There's a fault in your modem.
13, You have a bad phone cord plugged into your modem.
    14. There's an issue with your house wiring.
    15. There's an issue with your outside wiring.
    16. A squirrel chewed on your phone line at the pole and it's raining. (I've had this happen personally.)
    17. A switch/router at the CO for your ISP is having an issue.
    18. One of the many hubs between you and PWI is having an issue. (most common)
    19. There is heavy sunspot activity. (has happened within the past two years)
    20. There's a regional router outage. (Has happened several times, most recently just a couple of weeks ago.)

That's just a few. The more details you give, the better I can narrow it down and tell you what the issue is.

Also, post a copy of a traceroute to the server.
