BM's Vit stones or HP stones?

Ok so i already know i want to be high tanking BM. I do not PVP so i really dont care about that but i want the best defence as possible to all mob attacks. Someone once said Vit is better than HP stones but i want others opinions? I was going to go with garnet in my end gear but i decided thats just physical and not mag def.

    Use them for armors, for more HP/def.

    (mag. shards < HP shards < vit. stones < lv. def. 2 stones )

    BMs get 15 hp for each vit point, so 10 vit = 150 hp plus raises your defenses. Citrines give 115 hp and do nothing for your defenses. JoSD are the best stones but almost 3 times the expense of Vit stones.

    Garnet stones are a better choice for PvE than Citrines, and depending on other gear can be as good or better than vit stones.
