Perfect World Database that has tooltips

Google has let me down on this one..

I'm looking to integrate item/gear tooltips into our faction's forums, but I'm having trouble finding a good source for this info.

PW Database is a good place to go to look stuff up, but they don't support pulling tooltips directly so that if a member types out the name of a piece of gear, or item in their forum post, it creates a popup with the icon and description of the item.

Basically, I'm wondering if anyone has found something similar to http://www.rharmory.com/tooltips which is for Rusty Hearts (another PWE licensed game) except for PWI.

Any suggestions?

I haven't heard of anything like that. Sounds like a massive project.

I've also been looking for something like this. There is an example when you click the '?' on the Shivtr forums. But if you find anything, make sure to spam me with pms to let me know xD

That would be a pretty nice feature for these forums as well, but PWE can barely keep their blessings page operational so I'm not holding my breath b:chuckle

You could try contacting the PWDatabase admin (scroll down any page of the site to find his mail) and pass him the suggestion.

That's what we have now, but if there was a source that worked similar to the rharmory site, then sections of our website (yeah, it's shivtr btw) such as the mat and gear bank would automatically give this info to people looking through it just by hovering their mouse over the name of the mat.

You must be using Internet Explorer. :) Firefox, Chrome, and Safari do exactly what you describe.

Making it work in IE is annoying, but maybe I'll get a few minutes to mess with it tomorrow.

ahh. I see, I see. (now that I'm in Chrome)

That's perfect, but the page breaks google translate, so I have no clue what any of it says outside the tooltips.

I see what you did there with the tooltip class, gonna have to look into that.

    Thank you.

Lol @ trying to translate Lorem Ipsum text.

That Jquery is very nice though. It makes me want to fix up the crappy CSS tooltips I have in my genie thingie.
