I would seriously consider paying for this.
I have a ton of bound gear I do not want to npc.
would it work if it had like a week unbinding process?
How would this affect the game?

    Unbinding charm/service/item/npc should be available

At this time there is no plan for Perfect World International to offer an unbinding service as it runs contrary to express purposes of selling binding charms. Please remember that binding the items serves more than the purpose of preventing your gear from being dropped in PK, it also prevents other from selling your item/keeping your item if your account is compromised. Selling unbinding services would remove this protection. Please take the decision to bind items seriously and make sure you are comfortable NOT selling the item before binding your gear. If you want to protect yourself from dropping in PK, there are other options available to you including Guardian scrolls and safety lock. The last option is particularly attractive because you can set it for 30 minute intervals so that you don't have to wait that long if you should decide you want to do something other than PK and go blue name instead. And unlike guardian charms it is not consumable. Guardian charms are also attractive in that the protect your exp as well.

#1 You cannot npc bound gears
#2 Many people already ask that (i would personnally love it too) but they say that if people dont want drop it they can use dolls beside bound it or use SL.

I personnally have many item bound that i regret i did cause cant use on my char on my other account, but what is done is done now i dont bound my stuff cause i know i might regret it.

Should they implement such a thing... I'd sooo buy them! I also have a few bound gear that I don't want to npc. Like my Psychic's TT80, she's the only character on that account so that TT80 is a waste now :(

I know several people who wish these existed. I think they should have been around since the beginning. I mean, you can bind stuff...why not be able to unbind them?

Yup i forgot about that but yes that protect people who get **** cause take 7 days to destroy a bound item, and i have friends who got **** recently who are ''happy'' their stuff is bound cause that give a chance to dont loose the item if its fix fast.

nop, tested, takes 72h, aka 3 days
means if some1 hacks ur acc, is mean enough to activate the destroy timer of ur gear and hides the items somewhere and gms aint fast enough to get ur acc back, ur screwd.

If they want to protect people though, shouldn't they auto-bind everything with any sort of value? Lunar, Lunar-Nirvana, OHT, Legendary and a few others wont bind on equip at all. If I got ****, I'd still lose half my stuff.

I think people should be allowed to make the decision of how secure they want their items themselves anyway. Taking the risk of unbinding something is exactly the same as taking the risk of not binding something tradable.

Also, if binding really is a security feature, an option to unbind would see more players make use of it. For example, as a BM I'm not going to bind my Deicide because eventually I'll want to sell it to fund an upgrade fist/claw. If unbind charms existed however (at a reasonable price), I'd bind everything.

especially agree with the last paragraph.

if binding is a security feature it should be an optional feature, kinda like one of those locks with combinations (or keys). up to u to decide if u lock up and when to unlock instead of being locked up with no combination or key
    No

Making an unbinding charm would be STUPID, since it goes against the REASON there is a binding charm. In my opinion, binding charms are only useful to prevent your gear from getting stole. But what would be nice is to take off the AUTO-BINDING on TT Gold and TT recasted into nirvana gear. Let's say I wanna quit my bm, I got TT99 gold set bound because of the AUTO-BINDING feature, so I can't sell it. You could make a charm to get your TT99 gear unbound, and make a update that it won't bind on equip (the charm would only work on the gear that got Auto-Bound, that means only the gear that you got before the update, so it should be free or very cheap). But again, that's just my opinion, and I doubt it will happen anyways.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the auto-bound feature from recasting something that is transferred over from the TT99? For example, if you made lunar into nirvy gear, wouldn't that be something you could sell later? Or am I totally wrong on that one?

Correct - auto bound gear, if already bound to a character, has its "bound" state transferred even once transformed into something else.

Since Lunar doesnt bind on becoming Gold or NV, it doesnt have that issue.
To be honest though, TT becoming Bound on equipping and Lunar not binding...I always considered that as one of the pros/cons of the two gear types rather than an annoyance.

Hide them where? There are only 2 different places they can be, unless you have an account stash. But even then that's only 2 places among each character.
