Bound Equipment: How do you unbind it?

I have a set of gear from TT (Twilight Temple for new folks) that has bound upon equiping.
I'd like to use it on one of my other toons coming up thru that level for this gear instead of remaking a whole new set.
Can it be unbound, and if so, how is it done?

    No can do. If your alts are on the same account, the bound gear can be passed through the account stash.

    Depending on the status of the gears , some can not be traded such as ranked gears

    But auto-binding TT gold gear can all be passed through the account stash. Most that can not (such as rank gear) say so in the item description.

    If you're desperate to get rid of it, I read elsewhere yesterday that you can destroy bound gear, it just takes 3 days. I have yet to try this myself though so I don't know if it's true.

    You can destroy it and I think I'm going to have to go that route. I just can't remember WHICH NPC I took it to the last time I did this.
