What happened to all of the rep Sellers in HT?

Few days ago saw some selling rep at 12-13k/ea

As soon as a got the coin to buy over 1200 of them. I seldom see anyone some selling, if any then at 14k/ea.

What has happened b:shocked.

    Gold price went up due to the new sale.

    Reputation is a gold/boutique product as sold in catshops. Those catshops are selling them for profit on the gold price. If gold goes up, the price of rep in their shops will go up.

    Gold price didn't change that much. it is still at 1.4x mill , before the sale and after.

    No dynamic catshoppers present.

    You always have the guys selling high and going afk hoping for sales from people in a hurry. The prices go down when you have a few ACTIVE merchants competing with each other. Don't worry they will be back.

    No competition? Damn thats a nice opportunity for a merchant to swoop in and take that market, though temporarily.

    Permanently, i did it with the charm market, everyone was lazy took me 1 sale to get a foothold and i have made 4 major shops quit, only 1~3 shops all time around and they don't compete with me.

    Rep is more competitive on my server, people sell below gold price if you compete, not worth it unless you bought major supplies before hand.

    Maybe also it is 2x, and they are actually mains as shops b:shocked.

    Although, if you're buying that much rep, just do what the merchants do. Buy the amount of gold you need to purchase 1200 rep badges through the AH. Then just purchase the rep directly from the boutique.

    BTW, you'd need to buy 11 gold to get 1200 rep badges.
