Are new skills broken?

i got my new skill today, Telekinesis.

i was happy and went test it, comparing with an other skill

Spirit blast : base mag attack + 100% weapon damage + 2938.5 ---> 68k on a mob

Telekinesis : base mag attack + 130% weapon damage + 6475 ---> 28k on the same mob

so my question is how? how can it be cut by like 60%? when the damage is suposed to be higher?

i heard some new BM skill damage sux too, not doing as much as it shuld.

are we doing those stupid dailies for nothing?
i thought skills was the main pro of the expansion, guess it fails again

    wasnt the 1st one a crit and the other non crit :D also could be a element high defence mob or just a random with high resist to that, plus, with ur refines ur atack range is to big but 60 - 20k is much diference

    nop, no crit, and the mob was the same, and both skills are earth element, so yay
    i would have to look for ChiChiChia thread where he is talking about new bm skil lthat sux too

    Because the skill is a curse not a damage dealing skill, he damage isn't affected by attack levels, wraith levels, level differences and critical hits. So that 130+ attack level you have in black voodoo full rank 9 jones blessing is probably what is pushing spirit blast ahead in terms of damage done.

    Telekinesis however gets trough resistances such as absolute domain, iron-guard, damage reducing skills such as wings of grace and wind shell, defense levels and magic defense charms. b:surrender

    There have been known... differences in the skills as to what people read / assumed they were which is what the thread dedicated to it aswell as Asterelle's original expansion thread are made for, would take 2 mins of searching to find your answer!

    The DMG for the spinning BM skill is useless, not worth using.
    What kind of fool pays for a free game.
