All people have thier own opinion, You consider Mono a fail lead just because he/we are losing at tw b:thanks. In my opinion( whether it matters to you, dnt know, dnt care), he has long survived this faction as a home to many incl. me and also judging from all the in-game-faction chat, no one in faction gives much ***** about TW. Yes, everyone wants to win but losing doesnt make any of us to rage quit or demotivate us from enjoying this game.
speaking for myself(and everyone in drakons), I love to TW but havent got a chance to be in one since 5 weeks(cause of rl job) and also, we were losing it since 2-3 months to good factions, that didnt made me quit or demotivated from enjoying this game(which happened to most people in other factions). And thats where i think Mono/officers succeeds in being a good lead. Because once we fail at tw, we never go on taking it on our mind/heart. TWing is just an integral part of this gameplay, so enjoy it as a game and you will have more peace of mind than you(YES! YOU) actually have right now.

I have no idea how long you've been there, and I've never been there, but I haven't forgotten Mono and all of his early members telling everyone, everywhere that they were gonna dominate the map, and that's all there was to it. There were pages and pages and pages of threads in this forum as Mono proclaimed the Story of the Knights or whatever the F he was going on about.
I even remember a certain barb that joined Drakon shaking the trees at every other faction on the server for people to join them, and if they refused he trashed them and everyone they knew as losers, and proclaimed how Drakon was gonna smash *everyone*.
I remember after the map toss (before the last one) when Drakon spent all it's time eating up smaller (tiny) fac's lands, but refused to attack GD or Enrage or frankly *anyone* else who was a threat until the map was already well into Enrage's hands - then they quietly faded away as Rad broke thru and ate them from the inside, week after week. I have no idea what was in Enrage's minds back then. "What a nice goofy morsel. Let's save it until we're bored and then we'll crush it like a bug" but they kept Drakon walled off from anyone else for a long time. (I've always wondered what bag 'o Gold Rad had to trade to Enrage to get them to let them thru to Drakon. I'll bet that was a fun conversation.)

Of course, anytime I see or hear Mono I remember that last TW bid before they announced that TW Refunds were over. Remember that one? It had been the rumor for weeks that PWI was gonna keep your bid , win or lose? Then Mono bid 200M on some land and was rewarded with a land and 10M a week?
Yup - that was smooth.
Don't know him, and I'm sure there are plenty of nice people in Drakon - I know quite a few of em. But if you're gonna hold an entire faction up to ridicule for the actions of one loudmouth and/or it's Leader, then Drakon is up there on the stool wearing the dunce cap too.

(I've always wondered what bag 'o Gold Rad had to trade to Enrage to get them to let them thru to Drakon. I'll bet that was a fun conversation.)
