A few sage/demon questions.

Hello everybody.

I'd like to ask some questions about going sage/demon since I'm getting there.

First of all: how much is a mystic book currently? A good one, like NV or sage BitC.

Second of all: if books are too expensive (I don't buy gold) i'm probably not gonna get any celestial skills, so I'm basiclly gonna choose for the sparks, lol. So i'd like to know: which spark deals more damage overall?

If you got any tips to help me choose which way to go, i appreciate it. b:victory

    Your income changes at 100+ so don't choose the cheap path.

    I agree with tweakz. I saw about 5 AS going for 1 million each a week or so ago. There are still 4 on the AH going for 3 million. If you keep your eye out, you can start collecting Celestial Skills now.

    When I started collecting books, Sage seemed the cheapest, now Demon seems to be going for less than Sage on my server. Id honestly rather use blue & purple gear until I got most of my skills and then start working on the gears.

    You should be able to pick up a good selection of *bargain* skill books from farming Tulips or something, no reason not to bother with them. You have a good head start right now if you are really only lvl 78. You already have it in your head not to get any books, so buying them shouldn't have any rush factor included - meaning you dont have to pay a high price if you are willing to bide your time until a more reasonably priced skill shows up on the AH.

    Dont choose Sage or Demon based on 'player trends & fads', or how much you think the skills will cost. Choose based on what choice will best enhance your play style.

    Most skills should be about the same price regardless of sage/demon due to method of obtaining them and/or relative usefulness. Probably the only exception will be demon thicket because of how OP it is compared to sage thicket.

    the 89 skills are cheap, like 1-3mil or so.

    im sure you know the differences between demon and sage already, but as far as just the sparks go, i would prefer demon over sage, since demon gives casting speed, and as far as i know, sage gives defense.
