R9 bm and going against other R9s

anyone still think bms are good at tanking with r9 or even worth getting r9 , marrows seem to lower def and without one, magic hits too hard. Anyone else also find it difficult to go against r9 archers? or know if a marrow should be used or not against them since they seem to hit really hard compared to others imo. Also if bms go r9, i saw a bm hardly do dmg to another r9 barb or seeker where as comparison they were hitting the bm for way harder. Bms seem to be going downhill in tanking others imo or is it just that the marrows lower bms down? Without magic marrow, bms seem to be to squishy against magic but when using it, r9 phys hits way to hard. What to do , what to do :\

    um learn more about bm or the other classes so you can what is the best way to proceed. Ofc its worth getting r9 its the best gear ingame. And with you and your opponent r9 (assuming refines and shards and similar) should it not come down more to skill than anything else?

    yeah but even if u know how to play your class, axe bms dont really have the dd to take down a r9 seeker with like 20k hp+ not to mention its defense level and same goes with barbs. With archers still hitting for at least 8k crits unmarrowed and if marrowed they eat u up with their phys attacks. Seekers are similar, u magic marrow, u get hit to hard with phys, u dont and u take heavy dmg with magic even as a r9 bm

    Read my advanced PvP guide. R9 BMs can wreck other R9s. You just need to know how to play the BM.

    Demon bell + Mage marrow can tank R9 archers easy, just phys def charm spam.

    BMs can 3 shot another R9 JOSD +12 Barb self buffed in human form with 2 HF + tangling mire zerk crits (I've done it before). A R9 Barb would never be able to kill a BM that's demon bell and phys marrowed unless they got lucky with a clean sweep purge arma.
