need help!

Hello,
So we're trying to play the game, but we're stuck in the starting screen. We were wondering how you make a character and begin playing. Please help us!!

    I'm assuming you were able to log in, correct?

    If so then the problem is probably that your window/screen resolution isn't tall enough to show the buttons to create a character.

    Switch to windowed mode, if you aren't already in it (you may need to do this from the launcher), and then make the window tall enough to see the "Create" button down on the lower left.

    This is one problem with the interface that they should have fixed long ago, since it's a common newbie stumbling block, but so far hasn't been fixed.

    If you're using Windows Vista or 7, then you may also need to install DirectX 9c (full download here) to get some things installed that weren't included with DirectX 11 (don't worry, the installer won't overwrite DirectX 11). Missing the necessary DirectX 9 files will normally mean that you can't see your character or any of the other PCs in the game.

    Ok. So we tried many things, but we'll try to figure out which option makes the screen bigger.
