Hello , Does anyone have any information about the New Morai Weapons for Archers ? I have searched Ecatomb , PW database and even PW calculator but i have found nothing about it , it's stats and how well it compares to other weapons like Broadland or Heaven Shatterer.
I was thinking of getting it to replace my Vast Land and since i dont PVP , those slaying lvls could come in handy. Any help/info is appreciated , thanx

Join Corona, do Morai dailies for 2-3 months, and get the G15 bow. I think it is better than R8 for PvE. Only R9 / Warsoul beats it. Not sure how it compares to R8 recast.

Don't see how it's better. Besides having to do a few months of dailies, and the 17mil fee, it does less damage, and other than the +60 Warding level, the adds don't seem that good. Have to remember the R8 bow has over 2200 max Patk, and 2 good adds that on any other weapon would need 2 of their 3 random adds for EACH one.

Now if it refined and had stats like a G15 should, and that warding was actually slaying b:dirty

It is better in the since all the coins you can save buy not having to buy/farm for other weapons. If you are going the Nirvana weapon route, go no further than the 95 quest weapon. But if you are going the R9 route yes, it will be superior in the since of coins you can put to R9 instead of putting in other weapons. Of course if you are going to PK/TW/PVP in between now and endgame you will need something else these have no use there, just pve.

On the tests I have done with the 95 daggers I estimate in pve the G15's with right char stats, shards and add's on daggers will compete with G15 Nirvana, but not beat its spike dmg, nor its dps capabilties. With 23 Attack levels on my Sin(no blessing) the g12's spike around 50k give or take with just +4 refine and no sharding (I have a post on them in sin forums 3rd or 4th page back). It seems the slaying levels multiply with attack levels so that is quite a boost.

So it is really hard to say what is the best(all around, coins/farming/time), really depends on builds sharding refines, play style and most importantly what each person is able to do.

Well I can tell you the Slingshot of Chaos is just as good as the Broadland my Slingshot with 1 socket and only +2 does about the same dmg as my Broadland 2 socket +5 but the Slingshot is faster I use the Slingshot for grinding/farming. The Broadland edges out in damage when it procs but the Slingshot's speed might make up for that. Those slaying lvl's are no joke they really make a difference.

if you think "but 60 slaying levels thats 60% more damage!!!" go for it

it is just another way the devs made to waste coins...

All builds below use the R9 Ring in order to make a fair comparison. I know there is excess Strength; the original build was based off of something that could use Deicides.

The R9 build does not use the R9 armor. I am only comparing bows. A full R9 build would deal more damage due to set bonuses.

The Seraphic Shooter: Sky does not exist in pwcalc.com at the time of this post. I used Heaven Shatterer instead, which has the same base attack. I know that Heaven Shatterer refines better than Seraphic Shooter: Sky, but at the same time, Seraphic Shooter: Sky has random bonuses. I am considering the Dex+16 and the extra refine bonus to make up for the random bonuses that you can get on Seraphic Shooter: Sky. The attack speed of the build is wrong, as Seraphic Shooter: Sky cannot have any -interval bonuses. I put the correct value below.

So, as you can see, the Seraphic Shooter: Sky does about as much damage as the R9 bow, minus R9 set bonuses, in a PvE setting. Thus, for PvE, Seraphic Shooter: Sky is certainly not a waste of coins if you do not want to go full R9.

This is a way for casual players who don't PvP to just play...you wouldn't even need to cash shop or farm instances. The coin cost is **** compared to any other alternative end game weapons

You could presumably use it with R9 armor's attack level bonuses and achieve decent damage comparable to R9, but no one with R9 would seriously refine the PvE wep.

archer dont have to use claws to be awesome dds...

what about recast r8? what about 2nd cast nv? both can be farmed as well!

why would you use ring of trauma to compare? coinwaste if you dont plan on getting ful r9

- I took the build from something else and just modified the weapons. For the purposes of comparing the damage output of the three weapons, the build is sufficient.

- I used the same ring on each build so that the comparison is fair, for the purposes of comparing damage output.

Your ability to see past your own snap judgments and make simple, logical deductions is lacking.

What about recast r8? It costs a good 300m if you buy the mats.

Why am I saying "buy the mats" when you clearly said both can be farmed as well?

Because you're buying the G15 Morai PvE bow for 17m. If numbers can stack up to even the R9 bow for a bow that costs 17m and 3ish months of doing dailies that take less than 15 minutes to do and are generally afkable (digging shards), then that's a bow I will want to use.

I know for sure once I get my 2nd skill in Shroud and 3rd in Lumi, I'll be going for the bow and daggers in Corona to test them.
