I wonder if pwe can change exsisting content, rather then adding new content? I like the reconstructing idea. The place now is empty and ugly and no one is going to hang out there, it's just boring. if maybe they changed it up maybe added some new rooms groups could run in and out of or just hang out in.

This would be really good for the social aspect of it, I mean face it after lvl 100 unless you are in a busy faction you are just sitting around chatting. Having a Arena would give players a place for tons of people to sit and idle, but have a entertaining enviroment to do it in, Also it may also give a Faction something to aim for in TW, like whoever won the 6 month TW would get a VIP room in the arena where they could have a NPC who provides gear repairs for free and maybe some other perks, you could even throw in something for Morai. Throw in some faction bulletin boards, scores from team fights all posted in game, Faction players Pk ranking or whatever.

Apparently there is lots to see here and you are the only one who is blind. Just because you don't like the idea, doesn't mean others don't. Its not that hard to be a positive person. And even though you probably know this already, you don't have to respond to things you don't like.

If they did that, what would be the point of Safety Lock and Guardian Scrolls, again? Or the whole Shatter system? Or what about binding charms?

What is the point of it now? Safety lock doesn't make any money for the company. Which makes GS, shatter and binding pretty much useless as well.

Besides, there will still be nut jobs out there wanting regular Pvp as it is already. I don't think an arena will cause that much of an issue in that regard.
