There are skills that have such a severe cool down... Above 1 Minute seems a little... too much? Especially for flash which costs FIFTEEN minutes.
Why didn't the devs fix this with the new expansion and massively nerf spark burst with those special matching add-ons from Rank gear, TT90 and 99 and nirvana too for example and fix the LVL79 / 100 skills cool down? 150%-900% of weapon attack bonus
Let's be real here... spark burst was the most game breaking thing in both PVE and PVP since day 1 and it became even worse ever since someone manages to perma spark. There are people that can not only hit hundreds of thousands of damage, but MILLIONS. 150%-900% of weapon attack bonus depending on the grade is too great for anything to survive unless you're a werefox with purge. Thus why people are complaining about APS ruin PVE and casting ruined PVP.
It is even worse that it does NOT have a cool down, not even 1 minute at least. This is the real skill that needs a severe cool down but not by a lot, 5 minutes would be fair in my opinion and tweak with those 79-100 skills that have such a severe cool down and make them have a cool down for 1 minute or less.

...This would actually fix quite a few balance problems with sins and APS in general, as well as double triple spark archers, etc.
Imagine sins actually having to use skills instead of triple spark - occult ice - auto -target still alive? - repeat.
30s cooldown on single/double/triple spark seems reasonable.

3-5 min cooldown on spark is a good idea. it will fix alot, especially the APS problem. it will also fix jackasses going demon PURELY for demon spark.
burst should be exactly what it implies, a burst of dmg for a short period of time. therefore u should not be able to spam it all the time as if it was nothing. it should be used only for a limited burst of dmg output.
its kinda disgusting when u see squads spamming sparks every single chance they get all day and all night. its not just sins/5aps melee either, the casters are guilty of it to. going demon spark to spam the - casting it gives and ****.0 -
im not too much on the - channel thing,tryed it with tide spirit and it ruined my attack macro
i say nerf the spark so it has a cooldown of 30 seconds,like the other two posters said
better make it 45 seconds just to be safe0 -
30 is long enough to make ppl stop perma spark and would kill soloist pretty much
if longer ppl would qq to much but 30s would make ppl you it as a skill

in arch they do it constantly..all the time,you ought to come visit some time just make sure to bring horror proof sunglasses0

+1 with the idea of longer cooldown for sparks, so a sin will still need a cleric to tank, not only depends on bp + sparks and looks at cleric with a grin like saying 'who needs a cleric when you have bp' , sometimes in a boss fight bp alone won't be enough without triple spark.
