The second boss in FC.

I have a 101 sin (4aps, nirvana daggers, 6.5khp base), that I am both trying to sell FC heads and level to 102 with in FC.
I know I can duo the entire FC with a friend, but the 2nd boss is the only one preventing me from totally doing a completely solo run, as my computer basically dies if I try to dual client. I can kill the mobs so it's weakened, but the bubble always gets me.
Anyone got advice or thoughts as to how to get past it alone? So far, I've been considering vacs and possibly genie skills (maybe Badge of Courage if it works on this boss, or Faith).

Ok...you are 4.0 base or spark? Also, what is the dagger refine?
But the best way to do it is that you when you start off, the first time he hits you with a water attack you pop a vacuity pot. Wait the duration of that pot, then hit Maze steps. If it's not dead by then, have ToP on genie or something to keep ya alive long enough for one of them to come off cooldown (maze steps or vac pot)Nothing worthwhile to mention here, enjoy the animated signature~

4aps sparked. Refine is +5 (crappy, I know, working on it ._.)
I guess I'll try using ToP till CD is off.
My friend told me that there was a particular animation for bubble that I should watch for? Or are the animations all the same?
Also, is there any sort of timing to his bubbles?0 -

You can kill the 2 Elemento that he spawns?
if yes the boss will have around 800k hp and he wont bubble you like crazy, use Tidal Protection(try max it ) and have AD and apoc. The boss is 2 spark kill but with your refines you need more time, try check how long you need to kill him if its less than the time that Tital Protection runs out then you can do it.
if i was you i wouldnt solo, duo its fun and you should focus to refine the daggers than lvl to 102.No offend but you dont want to be 102 with +5 refines0 -
Mmkay...4.0 sparked isn't bad, you might still want to duo until you can get 5.0, or at least a +10 on the weapon.
Basically what happens with the boss once he spawns (since you said you can kill the elemento's (Hopefully all of them) he'll be in his weakened state (if not, and you just kill two sets he'll be in the toughened state)) you will want to have tidal protection as your first buff. Combo this with vacutiy pot so that you have a 100% chance of avoiding all control effects (bubble counts as a control effect and so does the sleep he does). Once the apoc wears off, since it'll last longer than tidal, use maze steps. This should give you around 35 or so seconds worth of immunity time and the boss should be dead by then.
As for animations...it's hard to say. Basically his animations are all the same and I have never seen anything to do with his bubble...but supposedly he'll say "Take this" or something like that in normal chat and then buble ya...But otherwise besides crossing his arms and showing a little shield ripple type thing for his water attack I have never noticed any other animationsNothing worthwhile to mention here, enjoy the animated signature~

Maxing Tidal Protection is a must for the bubble boss. It has a 50% chance to evade the bubble.
Other than that, after your first spark is about to run out, Maze Steps, RDS or Inner Harmony, then spark and attack again. When Maze steps run out, use Vacuity Powder (20 secs of immune to stun). Use EP or Mire when you spark as well, but make sure you have enough for ToP or second chance.
By then he should be dead. If not then keep on attacking and using crab meat when it's not on cooldown. You can't do anything in bubble, so while having a constant regen from crab meat, you should survive.[SIGPIC]Octavia is best pony[/SIGPIC]

I agree with Skai, even at 4aps with r8, I would spark, spark again then build up chi to cast maze steps, harmony spark again then use the 20sec Vacuity Powder if needed. It is all about timing, get that down and you will see how easy this boss is to solo.Marine - Marshall - Raging Tides - Retired

Yes, because people really need 900+ dex or 1000+ magic just for the lulz0 -
A few things, kill both sides of mobs so you get the weakened version. Setup a genie for max damage (frenzy, EP). I even liked having Badge of Courage on mine which unseals you from bubble but you still take the dot. Tidal Protection, Wolf Emblem and Triple spark as he is unfreezing, don't wait till after or you lose about 5 seconds.
My combo is similar to the two people above me. Triple spark (plus frenzy, EP). Triple spark again, Inner Harmony and Bodhi immediately after then auto attack + EP. If he's not dead by your Bodhi cooldown I'll chain my third spark and a vac. The important thing is the Bodhi right after you spark the second time and if you come out of a sleep/bubble try to get 3 sparks with RDS.Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory0 -
Oh yes on thing I have noticed, When you are facing bubbles, from the direction of the npc that activates mobs, start on the right side not the left. I have been stuck tele'n from left to right several times, but starting right to left seems to be fine. Also on the last set of mobs, and you are start on the mob closer to the npc you must run to the back mob, but can tele from the back mob to the front one, Does that make any sense b:chuckle b:surrenderMarine - Marshall - Raging Tides - Retired

This is what Salari is referring to. If you start at the left side, when the second set of mobs appear, the one further right (that spawns in the same spot for the first and second mobs) will get you stuck when you tele to them.
This is how I start the boss. Albeit your DD won't be as crazy OP as mine yet, that's how you should start every bubble boss. The moment the circles disappear, Tidal Protection, Wolf Emblem, and Triple Spark. The boss would have spawned by then, and all you gotta do is mire/EP/etc him and attack.[SIGPIC]Octavia is best pony[/SIGPIC]

Ugh, tried today, it had 30k hp left when I died <.<
I'm pretty sure that if I had used my genie amps in the beginning, I woulda been fine. Thanks all.0 -
worse comes to worse, get somebody from your faction or a friend to glitch it for you0
