Marshal or above to start trials

aight, i can see how this is a good thing, but also, its a very bad thing when all marshals or above either a) hate trials, or b) aren't online when there are enough people on to do them.
Relying on 6 people out of 180+ to start them is a bit too low, so i propose changing it to executor and above instead of marshal and above. basically doubles the amount of people that can start and also still keeps it where not every idiot in a faction can do it whenever, just a suggestion

Sorry but maybe you don't have the right marshals then. b:surrender
Shouldn't officers be on too when a good deal of the faction is and promote faction activites? .-.

I would have to agree too. If officers aren't online who's there to support the faction?

Officer positions in a factions shouldn't be handed out to just anyone. Its an officer position for a reason and should have more responsibility that requires more online time.

Sounds like your Marshals need their rank dropping.

Good marshals should be online frequently, at least when the majority of the faction is online.
I've quit excluding TW for my faction. But I still hang around to help out those who still enjoy the game under PWEs horrific handling and to have fun in the forums. b:cute

If you make a valid complaint, your thread will disapear. Don't post it here, post it on other sites where PW can't hide it.

there is that, but when those that help run the faction and/or take care of all the other things besides trials have said positions but are in much different time zones, i figure doubling the number by allowing execs as well would be of some use without ruining the original cause of this new implement in the first place

Then that is the Leader's chore. There are 4 Marshal slots, appoint 4 different Marshal with different online time...

Yep, God forbid your Marshals aren't online 24/7 to start Trials.

People saying you need better Marshals are just imbeciles. Even if a Marshal is online, who is to say they aren't busy with officer work or real life things?

I personally agree Executor+ is fine for starting Trials.

I've not done trials yet, due to us being more of a helper faction, but geeze, 6 people out of a level3 fac are the only ones that can start them?? I think it's a perfectly feasible idea to have Exec+ start instead. 15 people is better than 6.

I can see the pros & cons to allowing only marshals and above to begin the trials, but there are times when you wonder what certain individuals IQ levels really are when Faction chat is spammed by the Leader &/or Director for everyone to only take the reward quest and not any other, (Namely the one that begins the trials) and 5 minutes after, the trials start, thanks to one of the execs, who's only reply was "I didn't see *Insert Faction Leader's name here* Say anything", when it should be blatantly obvious that you don't start these trials until EVERYONE is prepared and ready. Yes Real life comes before a game, but I also agree that Marshal positions should be allocated to someone who can be on regularly, and as someone in this thread has already said, maybe have some in different time zones and some that are on when the faction is at its busiest, that's why there is 4 positions for Marshals after all. Another idea that could be implemented is that the Leader and Director can Assign Specific Execs the power to start the Trials, someone they know understands what "Don't start the Trials till everyone is ready" really means.

It's ridiculous that Marshals are required to babysit Trials runs when Executors are more than suitable for the job. In big factions, Marshals have plenty to keep them busy, each with their own area of responsibility. It's stupid to require one for every single Trials run. Executors who have been tasked with running Trials have been left rather impotent, since they can't get anything going without a superior on hand.

I'd rather deal with the occasional idiot who accidentally starts a run rather than to be sitting around idle waiting on a Marshal to be free.
